XMas MEP #1 done, wondering if I should do another?

Okay, right now as I type this, I am uploading my X-Mas MEP to yousendit.com! Last minute decision to reverse the beginning and ending seems to work great. I wanted to make it more elaborate and mask out the backgrounds and do a lot of other stuff, but it just didn't come to fruition. meh...
I have another idea, but it would also be to EVA, so I don't know if I want to do it and burn out on trying to clean up more EVA footage prior to doing my AMV entry for K2-2006. I guess that everyone is required to do an EVA AMV once, so I'm getting my requirement out of the way early in my career.
I've decided not to purchase the platinum edition videos just yet. I've been spending money like crazy this past few weeks and I can't really see spending the money just yet. But of course, as soon as I do decide to buy it, it'll cost a crapload more than the sub-$50 it is right now at Amazon.
Christmas shopping is almost done - just my niece and my better half to go. Went to KB toys last nite and found something for my friend to cross another name off my list. I hope that my DVD purchases from ADV will come in soon - otherwise another friend will have to wait until after Christmas to get his present!
All this, and maybe 6 months in Guam lies in my future too... At least if I do go to Guam, I'll have more time to do AMV's and maybe start my modeling again...

jadd - I vote boobs, but what do I know...
Well, I finally started my ChristMEP project - and my co-workers here must think I'm nuts or something as I sit here and laugh my ass off while I'm making this. Honestly, I was very worried about the comedy factor of this, but just seeing Gendo talk while Cheech Marin's voice coming out - it's just too damn funny. I am currently about half done, and wonder if I should matt out the backgrounds or something, but I'll cross that road when I get there.
I just hope I have enough clips... I seem to hate having to get clips from EVA. I don't know why, but I just do. And what's with this jumping frames? That is annoying me to no end. <looks in wallet> maybe I will break down and buy the platinum edition discs...
A funny thing happened at the ATM today when I went to go deposit the paycheck. There was a notice up that said "ATM is currently only dispensing $1 bills" with today's date on the top. Can you imagine if someone didn't see that and decided to take out $200 without realizing it? The $20 in one dollar bills was sort of humorous, but any more and I don't think it would have fit in the wallet!
I wish my email would stop acting screwy...

jadd - hehe, it seems that ALL my AMV ideas are 'just out of my current reach of tallent' but I guess if we all just did what we were capable of, then I guess we wouldn't grow, huh? And thanks for the words of encouragement, I hope that my 1 or 2 entries will be funny and at least match the quality of the others too. This will be my first MEP (well, I tried starting one with newbie editiors and that doesn't seem to be going anywhere right now) and I look forward to the final project!
I was suppose to be working on it today, but some last minute errands has pushed it back to this afternoon at the earliest for me ~.~ We'll see how much I can get done clip-wise today (fingers crossed).
I just re-read my posts for my AMV's and seem to be very long-winded in my descriptions... I wonder who the hell reads all of that anyway other than the creators? I remember someones profile description that is about as long as mine and at the end, it states something similar to 'if you're reading this, why? Go watch my AMV's' or something to that effect. I guess it's just wanting to detail out all your thoughts at the time of creation while still fresh in your mind.
I think I need a boatload of money so I can just sit at home and do my hobbies - making a living is getting in the way of my creativity ^.^ -

hmm, I wonder if I'll get this thing finished? I've at least started this by going through the first episode of my anime (NGEVA) and tried that cool script Scintilla gave me and the results look pretty good so far. I just have to get enough time to find enough clips to make either or both of my songs work.
And the comedy end is making me worried too
uggh, what did I get myself into, anyway. Will be a challenge. With only an hour or two at most a day, I'll be working on this right up to the deadline. Then it'f full gear onto my K2-2006 'Project Bite' AMV too.
