The video I have at the moment is actually a BETA, but it is complete. The final video will have titles in the beginning, and will be up in the donut. So if you want the 'untitled' version, better download it now.
The full title is "Stand My Ground - Within Temptation - Appleseed 2004.Movie Soundtrack". I named it so because to me, it looked like a featured song in the movie.
Honestly, I didn't quite like the action-synch in all the chorus and how the ending turned out. But overall, it's still an okay vid. It's my second best after "Let Me Be Your Hero". I also glad that a few members from the White Angel forum liked this video.

Two people in the forum discussed an issue about xvid 2nd-pass 'unable to compress much further than the 1st-pass'.
It just so happened that I had had the same problem two days ago. I found out that the reason behind this issue is the invalid stats file.
A stats file becomes invalid when it is corrupted or its attributes has been changed (to hidden, or read-only). XviD will not be able to overwrite a stats file if the file is 'locked' or its attribute is changed.
To resolve this, all you have to do is either make a new stats or delete the invalid stats, and always redo the encode from 1st pass.
Issue:
2nd-pass encoding encodes exactly like the 1st-pass, regardless the input value of filesize.
Possible cause:
- Invalid or incomplete stats file.
Example on how to trigger:
1. Prepare a 10-seconds video.
2. Select a range of first 5-seconds for the coming process.
3. Do the short 1st-pass. Output the stats to a file "short.pass".
- Take note of the output filesize (eg. 500kb).
5. Change the attribute of "short.pass" to Hidden.
By doing this, the file will 'disappear' from the directory in windows (however you can still read-write it via any application if the filename and location is input correctly.)
6. Select a whole range of 10-seconds for the coming process.
7. Do the long 1st-pass. Output the stats to the same file "short.pass".
- Take note of the output filesize (say, 1000kb)
- Also, notice the size of the stats file. It isn't changed.
8. Do the long 2nd-pass. Enter a small filesize (eg. 200kb ;-).
Look at the graph.

Editing action seems to be harder than I thought, or maybe it's just the song doesn't fit for fast-paced action.
I only half-completed the first chorus. I wasn't quite satisfied with the result. It looked like the action moved a little too fast for the music to catch up. Also, the clips were not very well-blended because there were too many clips in a scene I wanted to put (in order to blend it all) yet the chorus was short.
The scene I mentioned is where Deunan and her team fighting some mutants and a small tanker at the beginning of the movie.
For the second chorus, I plan to put in some mecha fighting where the good team loses. I'd like to get to that tomorrow.
Oh yeah, Happy Chinese New Year to all who'll celebrate it!
And of course, Aidiladha to all muslims (although that was last week, it's not too late. I just picked my uncle returned from Mecca at KLIA some days ago.)

Pertama Complex has quite a few music shops on the 1st and 2nd floors. The good thing about the shops here is that you can find a lot of _rare_ and 'underground' VCD and music CDs. I bought "Mother Earth"at Music Zone, and "The Silent Force" at another shop. Mother Earth was quite good. I liked the first and second track. "The Silent Force" has better songs. I enjoyed listen to the "Intro" with "See Who I Am", and the bonus track "The Swan Song" was so beautiful and atmospheric that I imagined a lot of drama and action anime scenes in my head. lol.
The original enhancedCD is priced about RM90, that is d*mn too expensive! I bought the cd-r copy for RM15, which is still quite expensive considering the Duraplus CD-R, but meh, this is only for the project.
The original track "Stand My Gound" is quite different and a little longer than the MTV version. I had to cut out one segment and then blended it with the audio track from the MTV. It's already done now the only thing I have to finish is to fill up the action scenes and then the video will be ready.

I decided to pick "Stand My Ground" this time. The editing started yesterday and now it's nearly halfway finished. I'm doing simple action + a couple of drama scenes focused on Deunan's profile and the war.
The title shall be:
"Appleseed 2004.Movie Soundtrack"
I should be able to complete the timeline in about two more nights. Today I'll be going to Pertama Complex KL to look for Within Temptation's Silent Force album CD, just to rip the audiotrack. I hope he shop there sells it.
