- PC HDMI + HDTV = EPIC WIN 2009-08-02 21:44:47 Got bored today and decided I wasn't going to watch anime on my laptop... well, I sort of did, but I hooked it up to the new tv with the hdmi cable. Was a bit disappointed the sound wasn't carried through the hdmi like on the PS3, so that meant a few extra cables hanging from the entertainment center for the audio. But I was truly amazed at the amount of color I'm missing on this Toshiba's laptop LCD monitor. Which made everything look clearer and crisper on the 1920x1080 resolution. I'm definately going to have to build me a small fragbox computer to stream videos via LAN on the HDTV

It's been 2 years since I last played this awesome PS2 RPG, which I had rented from my favorite video store in El Paso, Major Players (I've had a membership there for over 15 years). I didn't get too far in the game before my PS2 crapped out on me >.<
Anywho, after returning from Iraq I finally entered into the world of HD with a 42" LCD HDTV 1080p completely with a 5.1 1000 watt surround sound system and of course a PS3 80GB game console. All connected with HDMI and fiber optic cables. And while buying some accessories for the PS3 at my local GameStop (which is now conveniently located at the PX on Ft. Bragg! W00T!), I stumbled across this amazing game for the PS2 for 20 bucks! Couldn't pass it up, so I bought it and took it home to start my journey as Jaster Rogue all over again.
Unfortuantely, my journey was cut sort when I popped it in the PS3 and found out my console is soooo new, they decided to not make it backwards compatible AT ALL with ANY PS2 games! >.< ANGER LEVEL THROUGH THE ROOF!
Long story short, the game is so awesome, I went out and dusted off my old PS2, had it fixed up, and found I had lost my memory card, so had to buy one, but I have to say... well worth it.
Just got off of work and spent a little over three hours straight playing the game, only to stop to eat and write this journal entry =p
Seems I'll be letting my PS3 collect dust for a while, except for the occasional Rock Band rock offs! -

Computer crashed >.<
Which only happened after someone who will not be named <cough>my wife</cough> played around with it and when I got it back, one very malicious spyware completely destroyed my harddrive. I had attempted to try to salvage what I could, but due to some "missing" drivers, my OS would no longer boot up. So with that said, I had to completely blank everything out and reinstall everything, still missing somethings... one thing I'm extremely mad about were some great pictures I had taken in Iraq and Kuwait... on the plus side... I just opened up a bunch of space on my hard drive =( - ANN 2009-07-17 10:13:05 haha, org people submitted to answerman. i like when i recognize names on other sites. but it was a question about amvs, so it makes sense =) wanted to send in my own opinion... but got side tracked and forgot XD
