A PSP RPG I actually want to play (despite the fact I've played the same game at least twice before)! Though... I am disturbed at the fact that they could remake all my favorite RPGs dating back to Secret of Mana and slap some new graphics while keeping that nostalgic feeling to it, and I'll just keep eating it up... >.<

My platoon had our Table VIII crew certifications yesterday... it was a pretty stressful time. I've been in this unit for just over a month and had about two weeks notification about getting up to speed for our certifications.
These evaluations are necessary to measures a units performance for combat effectiveness. Which stressed me out even more, due to the fact that I'm relatively new this particular job since I changed jobs in the Army. So there was a lot of studying done and a lot of practice and a lot of getting to know the equipment I was going to be working on.
But in the end, every last one of my crews in my platoon passes every aspect of our certification. The highlight of the whole thing was that our Operations Officer In-Charge (who's also playing at the Battalion Executive Officer and just happens to be the second highest ranking officer in our Battalion) was so impressed with my specific crew (running the AMG or Antenna Mast Group) that he came up to me and personally requested that I train the other sections running the same crew drill. From what he's told me, they're having some troubles =p
It's moments like that that make you fell that all your sacrifices weren't wasted and are recognized by others.
I guess now it's time to take my new found expertise and share my knowledge with others so they can achieve the same ^__^ -

I finally got my apartment here in Okinawa, I like the place, it just sucks having to drive 20 to 30 minutes (an hour if I hit rush hour). But the big news is that today was they day they hooked up my internet!
It sucks that living on the base you only get one choice in an internet provider (3MB download/1MB upload), while those that live on the economy have access to digital fiber optic cable (up to 100MB download speed). >.<
And before you go, "well why don't live you on the economy!?"
I tried, but upon my arrival on the island and talking with military family housing, Pacific Command will not authorize anyone to live off-base until the government housing is filled at a 95% (or higher). Oh yeah, did I mention there are over a dozen bases on this island? Yeah, which is why I have a long travel each day to get to the base where I actually work! lol

I'll have to say... I was with Code on this... LOLing at this... whatever it is, trolling on the donators forums, until I saw one of his most recent post about the military.
I have to say, when I saw it, I sort of snapped. But his comments really pissed me off...
