Well I originally signed up so I might be able to download FOOTBALL!! I saw a blog from Dom on Megatokyo (just like everyone else apparently).
Then I saw the two-week probabation thing and thought "damn, that's good!" Oh well, I should have joined months ago.
I first got into AMVs not from downloading off of the college campus network like my anime, but going to my first convention. awww...
I saw them before. The sound of loud, white rappers/rockers to the scene of a DBZ battle. But to see an AMV that was creative, thought out, etc. I entered a new stage of enlightenment.
Since that first time I studied the art of AMVs. I taught myself how to listen and observe to focus that stream into the creative juice and squeeze out a new mushy reel and lick the rough goo off to reveal my new creation. I studied hard, but life is a wicked mistress.
After almost a year, I finally mustered up enough talent to pursue a duo of video and sound. I thought about entering in my home convention, but nah. There is always next year (...and the year after that...). Foolish thoughts that I never uttered.
Did I mention I was in college at the time? yikes! What a surpise. Well, longer story shorter, I went through graduation and job hunting to get to this stable period in my life now. So there.
