  • Popndeth, Stealth, Zombies, and Fire 2002-03-17 23:48:26 I just recently learned that my host Popndeth is a trigger waiting to be pulled.

    PieRowM: So how goes the hosting situation?
    Popndeth: *surprised face emoticon*
    PieRowM: That....doesn't help.
    *after a few minutes*
    PieRowM: So?
    Popndeth: give me a god damn minute

    And there you have it ladies and gents. He's a nest waiting to be hit with a stick. (hehe, j/k pop, you know it's all good :-P)

    Anyways, on a different note, I began playing MGS and RE2 again, just for old times sake. Lemme tell ya, it's always fun to go through old stuph, whether it's sketches, games, or AMVs.

    Actually, in terms of AMVs it can be quite sad: seeing your very first AMV and thinking "Great googily-moogily, that is just pathetic." I thought pretty much the same thing when I saw mine just a few minutes ago.

  • Will the bitching cease?? Prolly not 2002-03-12 23:20:29 Whee, the time flies don't it folks. Feels like yesterday I was collecting stuph for the annual stick-kids-on-a-bus-for-three-days trip, also known as Band Tour. The story behind Band Tour belongs in some kind of evil document that should be kept in goverment hands. That, or burned. Either way, I don't feel like explaining it right now. Maybe later. Maybe.

    Now, in the present, I'm trying to collect my crap together so that I can actually goto college within the next few decades O_o SATs, applications, planning, mmm boy the fun doesn't end. The problem is that I always seem to have ignorance by my side as I walk through this dainty salt dish called life. *sigh* Enough bitching. On to AMV stuph.

    I have one AMV project being worked at the moment concerning Lunar, the RPG turned anime, or vice versa. I dunno. Taking advice from a friend of mine, the music remains un-announced and will remain so until released. *flips off all the people willing to steal ideas* :-P

    The next project, as mentioned in my previous entry, uses the Final Fantasy OVA: Legend of the Crystals. I don't really think I have anymore to announce on this video project. *folds arms and nods, satisfingly*

    One last thing: MY HOSTING IS DOWN
    That's right ladies and gentlement, life can really blow at times. Popndeth is having some trouble with copyright stuph or something. I'm not quite sure. This explains why people have been reporting problems with my videos. >_< Eh well. Maybe something funny will happen and I'll resume my happy-go-lucky life, which I had so long ago...

  • Wham Bam, Thank Ya Ma'am! 2002-02-24 19:28:14 I rarely expect truly cool things to happen. Prime example is my Family Guy video Quahog Kombat reaching it's 1000th download mark. I expected it to be popular considering it's the only FG video as of date, but it's still such an unexpectedly pleasurable feeling when so many people are interested in something you put your heart and soul into (although some might not think that way when they see the video :-P)
    Speaking of Family Guy, I really really want to remake Quahog Kombat, but the right episodes have not emerged from the television set quite yet. Patience will get me through this comedic ordeal, and hopefully I can get through it without people bad-mouthing me about the remake taking so long to be done. ^_^
    In the mean time, I have some important news about my Pokemon video: IT'S CANCELLED. That's right ladies and gentlemen, I've come to the irrifutable conclusion that I must mend my ways of making videos with no theme (Bawitdaba + Pokemon = Concept? No sir, it does not), and finally evolve out of newbie-ism. I plan to start off this new world of creating good amvs by working on my Final Fantasy, Legend of the Crystals video. I must confess, the music is STLL undecided (even after a good two months of thinking), so I have much searching and scouring to do. Wish me luck :-P

  • Pokemon! Final Fantasy! Kenshin! DVDs! Whatever! 2002-02-08 02:13:47 I've begun work on the Pokemon video to Kid Rock's "Bawitdaba". Currently, the name is going to be "Bawitdabawadadingdong". It's the first word that came to mind when I started the project, so there -_- I might change it later on, if a theme happens to arise, but there's little chance of that.
    I'm somewhat excited about this video, since this'll be my very first video that'll include self-captured clips. Behold, the power of capturing.
    After this video is done, I'll begin work on my Final Fantasy video, Legacy. So that's that.
    On a completely different topic, I just got in the mail my Rurouni Kenshin DVD (the one with the first four episodes), and I love it. The English dialouge is pretty freakin' decent, almost exactly like the Japanese. I'm inspired to purchase the rest of the DVDs (the one's currently out so far, anyways).

    Gawd, I hate advertising out of my own will... I feel so dirty....
