JOURNAL: Pie Row Maniac (Kirk Fryrear)

  • Just a simple quickity doo-dah 2002-03-19 22:49:19 Had to make another entry right after the last one after I read other people's entries, and after I had a few reminding thoughts:

Big Big Truck: I'm totally agree, the sound of rain is quite possibly the best thing to fall asleep to. No arguement. ^_^

Mac Hall has FINALLY updated their site after an irritable 10 days. If you don't know Mac Hall is a webcomic site that involves the wacky antics of college folk, and boy howdy it's damn funny. I mean, day-amn funny!

Tomorrow, our school band is doing some contest thing and a LOT of other schools from surrounding areas are coming. I have to adjudicate/judge four of these schools during the entire thing. Also, I have to be a judge's lackey from three to five, sharpening his pencil, filling his water glass, at this point I vision myself next to an old man doing every single thing he bids. I'm frightened. HOWEVER (the good part! Whoo!), I'm excused from every class of the day because the entire contest runs from 10 AM to 5 PM. So technically, I have two days 'til spring break.
Life is fun and funny at the same time. Who knew.
  • I said to myself "Pie Row, old boy..." 2002-03-19 22:33:50 Got back to work on my current project and actually worked on it. Put in some new Photoshop images, tweeked the audio a dash, a few new transistions here and there, and just basic putting-in-of-footage. This is really starting to look good. I'm glad I didn't dump it and moved on to my other project.

Speaking of my other project, fate likes to point and laugh at me through a soundproof glass window. My mom came in from work and as she walked in, I noticed she had a package in her hand. I wondered "Hmm, could that possibly the video I ordered?" It was the appropriate size for a tape, so yeah, I had a reason to believe it 'twas my video. Even better, it was addressed to me. It was opened, and inside was not my video. Apparently, my mom accidentally used my Ebay account instead of hers when she bid on whatever she got (I didn't ask what it was). *sigh* Like I said, *points to fate, still laughing from the window*

Bah, and just to top it all off, our stove and oven decided to break. It seemed like the appropriate time, considering we were just about to make lasanga. The good part about that is we ordered pizza! Whee!

  • Sore Throat!? Whoop-ee!! 2002-03-19 07:45:08 The title is self-explainitory. *cough!!*
  • Suckah Detected. Laying The Smackdown. 2002-03-18 21:22:04 God made jerks to make us laugh at our impatience and anger, after we die. I'll heaving a good deal of har har's at this: found a virus I found in an e-mail. It's gone through my system, and who knows what horrors are to be found. *grrr...*
  • I got a pain! A pain in the glavin! 2002-03-18 17:42:28 Right now, I have me a slightly irritating problem involving two projects I'm working on: the two projects I'm working on. Y'see, I have the footage of the first video and it's taking up quite a bit much of space on my hard drive. In fact, I have the footage in the Premiere timeline waiting to be edited and tinkered with. Now the bad part comes along; I'm stumped as to where the video can from where it is. DECISION TIME! Should I dump this project, and go on to the second project, which I've been dying to get my hands on, or should I hold out and work on the current video at hand? Blech, I'll eventually make a decision, but I'm leaning towards the former choice. I shall contemplate over a dish of mac and cheese. Mmm boy, that hits the spot...

Here's an interesting thought: Ya think they simply call it mac & cheese because some guy forgot how to spell it while writing and abbreviated it? Hmm...
