JOURNAL: Pie Row Maniac (Kirk Fryrear)

  • Yoink Part II: Son of Yoink 2002-04-03 15:41:47 Nope, didn't win. Eh well. Still don't feel motivated to really kick up my heels and work on my speech, especially since my friend and I don't have any reason to do it anytime in the near future. We might do it for an annual talent show at a camp we go to every summer, but whatever. Blargh.

One of my friends is mocking me. I must go and mace them. Ta ta for now, folks.
  • YOINK! 2002-04-02 20:43:30 Well as odd as it is, I'm at a speech contest. District, in fact. I just realized that the speech team was leaving the very next day I discovered this. In the utmost sense of the phrase "spur of the moment", I asked one of my friends if he wanted to perform "The Cheese Shop" skit from Monty Python at the contest. He nodded. After I hung up the phone, I found the script online and printed it. We practiced this thing before we left, on the way there, and mere moments before we performed. I guess we did pretty well. Right now, I'm on one of the few computers available in the library. Speak of the devil, he's announcing the scores right now! *waits, with beads of sweat rolling down his face* And the winner is...!
  • That's a lot of hub-bub 2002-04-01 15:13:22 Wow, lot of interaction going on with dreaddnott's latest journal entry. Bah, might as well spill a few thoughts on the coffee table that is this subject:
Similar to what nailz said, it seems rather pointless to confess your self-murderous intentions if everything in your life has turned against you. Why bother telling? Because you want someone to pay attention to you. It's like screaming your leg is broken when it obviously isn't, and hoping that someone will be sympathetic towards you. Simply put, I think that you just want attention, even if you don't realize it. Think it through and through, and you'll eventually realize that that's what you're trying to acquire.

Also, for crying out loud, stop acting like life is SUPPOSED to be better than this. Life is not everything that's good suddenly happening; nor is it the the hellish situation(s) that make you wish you were never born. It's simply astonishing that you suicidal types keep insisting these putrid and ignorant theories. Life is everything. It's the good and bad, and everything in-between. You were born to experience these things and now that it's gotten so bad that you think it'll never be good again, you want to quit? BOO HOO. Live and learn, for God's sake.
  • It's magically delicious 2002-03-31 16:11:11 Just for kicks and giggles, I checked out the top 10% list and found that *Haaaaallejuah!* Quahog Kombat is at #67 of the comedy genre. I love these moments of realized triumph.

Oh yeah, btw I'm back from my trip, if you haven't figured that out from looking at my past entries. Highlights of the trip: Bought a great DVD, and got to see Death to Smoochy, Princess Bride, and Wayne's World 2. Schwing.
  • Five darts is tooooooo muuuuuuuuuucccchhhh...... 2002-03-31 03:17:08 I love watching music videos and movies when really drowsy. Everything is sped up twice as fast because my brain malfunctions and makes for funny. Hey, what does this off button do? *bweep!*
