JOURNAL: Pie Row Maniac (Kirk Fryrear)

  • There is no possibility of life not ending. Unless something happened. 2002-05-22 03:34:39 Well this is an interesting developement. My friend's girlfriend's friend (yeesch) has taken to abusing her children. As my friend's girlfriend (whom I will call "Liz") says, her friend gave her son a mark on his face that was so hard it left a hand imprint. I tried to convince "Liz" that something had to be done. She said that even if she told the police, the situation would never hold up in court. No pictures of any marks, no real evidence, and the hand imprint I just mentioned "goes away in the morning". Damnit it all to hell.

Honestly, how much common sense does it take for a person to not hit their own children? THEIR OWN CHILDREN!! This is pissing me off to no end...

"Liz": If you're reading this, I'm sorry for saying all this. But to not say anything would make me no less of a criminal than your friend.
    I am so sorry.

Sorry for the LP reference, but the song means a lot to me.
I'll hold it to those who read this not to slander my idea of good music.
    Thank you.
  • Right now, someone sucks at Dance Dance Revolution 2002-05-21 09:49:06
    Yup.
  • The results are in. *looks at results* Eww... 2002-05-19 22:38:16 Well my first date went really well. We went to a Mexican restaurant and ate dinner with two friends. My girlfriend (feels weird saying/typing that, hehe) and her friend shared nachos, my friend had a #4 (don't remember what it is, but the plate was freakin' huge), and I had a mexican pizza, which is pretty much just one big round nacho chip. I order one everytime I'm there, and everytime I remember that I don't like them. Mmm boy.

After that, we went to see Episode II. We were gonna go see Spider Man, but we had all seen it, and it started later than Episode II, so it was an easy pick.
Here comes my inevitable opinion. Brace yourself:
I liked it. Lots of action. Fun. Yoda with a lightsaber. Cool.
Oh and those seismic charges Jango Fett had were badass.

Now was that so bad? It was? Really? Shut up.

The only downside to the date is the inevitable fact that I will eventually HAVE to break up with my girlfriend. It's really depressing. I really like this girl. Damnit all to Hell.
Wanna know why of this inevitable break-up?
Some might already know why, but here:

  • Just stay a while, won't you? 2002-05-17 02:19:42 Wow, this week has been great. And the weekend is going to be even better.

Tonight, I just got back from an awards gathering of our school band. Obviously, many of us got our share of stuff. Pins, plaques, and pieces of paper were passed out displaying various achievements in skill, talent, character and personality. I was given the "Most Entertaining" award. That took me by surprise. I mean, moments before he said my name I was thinking "It'd be pretty cool to get that," then came the one single word, followed by an extravagent amount of applause.
"...Woah," and "Freakin' awesome," were the only words that came to mind.

Oh and for those of you who have seen my forum topic about my girlfriend, she and I got the "Amorous Trysting" award (some call it the 'Secret Lovers' awards or the 'Sneakiest Relationship' award; bah, you get the idea).

To go with this, one of my friends lent me his PS2 memory card and Metal Gear Solid 2. So far, I'm very impressed with this game. Although I can honestly say that I'm not that far, hehe.
Another object I found to distract me of important matters is the Cowboy Bebop movie. I've downloaded about half of it, and have gotten past the really good part (you CB fans know what I'm talkin' about :-p).

All I can really say at this point is that life is good only if you make it. Sounds corny as hell, but damnit it all, it's true. No matter how many times you think "What bullshit advice," to some person who's trying to talk sense into you, it comes out all the same in the end. No matter what.

"I see trees of green... red roses too...
I've seen 'em bloom, from me and you...
And I think to myself... what a wonderful world...

I see skies of blue... and clouds of white...
The bright blessed days, and dark sacred nights...
And I think to myself... what a wonderful world...

The colors of the rainbow... so pretty in the sky...
Are also on the faces... of people going by...

I see friends shaking friends... sayin 'How do you do?'
They're really saying... 'I love you...'

I hear babies crying... I watch them grow...
They'll learn much more... Than I'll ever know...

And I think to myself... What a Wonderful World...

    Oooohhh....yeeeeeeaahhh.....

  • Son of a *nuclear explosion* 2002-05-16 01:57:37 For some reason, I found myself listening to Linkin Park's "In The End" over and over.
    Shoot me.
In the name of all that is good, shoot me.

I need to buy some soundtracks to take my mind off the oh-so-overused songs that I tend to use. It's getting irritating that all I ever know about music is what everybody else knows about music. I end up downloading only songs I like that I hear in other people's music videos, and that's what I know.
