JOURNAL: Pie Row Maniac (Kirk Fryrear)

  • Yes, ladies and gents, I am a geek. 2002-05-27 23:12:20 Being the uber-fool I am, I posted the wrong link in my last entry.
    HERE'S THE REAL CULPIRT!

Sorry for the mess up. ^_^()
  • Thanks to freaks, morons and weirdos, our world is a funnier place. 2002-05-27 20:20:15 I hate colds.
You talk like you have a vacuum at full power up your ass, that stuff you find under your sink somehow invades your sinuses, you cough up ..."things" that tried to eat you in your nightmares when you were 7, and to top that all off, I have graduation and the senior trip coming up. A kick in the pants, life is.

Anyways, here's something freaky, for your own entertainment:

I'd like to get me one of those! Mmm boy!

  • And that makes you larger tha- - *nuclear explosion* 2002-05-25 19:10:28 I'm still having trouble taking in the fact that I now have only two school days left until the big thingie happens. Graduation. Yeah. Mm-hm. Hot dang. Ooh boy. Anyways.

I got my SAT scores today. In the Verbal column, I acquired a chunky 460, with the range being 430-490. Math-wise, I got me a 490, the range at 460-520. Is this good? Bad? Hilarious? Hell if I know.

The revised edition of The Blue Star is coming along nicely. All I'm really doing to it is putting other clips in, increasing the quality and aspect ratio and As of now, I have three projects (two of which are remasterings), and two ideas in the "To Do" folder. My estimates of release dates have always been off in the past, but I guess it'll take one or two weeks before The Blue Star is done. Gurantees: none whatsoever.

The LAN party last night went alright. The highlight of the evening was when I downloaded an old SNL clip of the Chris Farley Show, with Farley interviewing Paul McCartney. The first two sounds that come out of Farley's mouth had my friend and I rolling on the ground, laughing are asses off. We have an oddball sense of humor, but I like to think that-- *truck passes by, drowning out the sound* So yeah.

  • 'Dats ridigilous! 2002-05-24 02:04:26 Tonight was my very last band concert. Sad to see such fun things go. It was irritating getting all the instruments in the right places and figuring out who goes where, why that's there, and what that thing was in my teeth, but hot damn, it was really fun while it lasted.

The percussion had a party at the band director's house, courtesy of his son, who's also in percussion. To be blunt, we had a blast. Our director and his wife generously bought us chips and soda, then made us pizza later on. Great people. Like I said, it's sad to see good things go.

    New subject:
I cried on the way to my third block class this morning. The inevitability that I have to break up with my girlfriend sooner or later is killing me. I like this girl so much, but of course, religion comes first. And to top that forsaken piece of reality off, the religion she's going to choose me over is Mormonism, the one religion I despise the most in this world. Taking the advice from a good friend of mine, I went to the bathroom, got over myself, and two things happened. The song For The Love of a Princess from the Braveheart soundtrack popped into my head. Second, the words of my friend rang through my head throughout third block.
"Cherish and appreciate the time you have with her..."

Right now, as I type this message, I'm crying again.
For what reason, I don't know. I'm unsure if I ever will.

  • 2002-05-22 14:08:21 Cooking is a lot of boombastic fun, considering you're making a meal you actually like. For instance, in my cooking class, me and my partner are making a dinner meal consisting of CHILI, CORN BREAD, FRUIT SALAD (banana, kiwi, oranges), and ICED TEA. Hot damn, now THAT's a meal.

    Time for some AMV updates.
I'm in the process of ripping more Trigun DVDs, as I suddenly realized I cannot finish one of my videos without more key footage. Complexity? Little. Irritation? Some. Worth it? Hella yes.
