JOURNAL: Pie Row Maniac (Kirk Fryrear)

  • Discovery of your mind, Inc. 2002-06-09 03:18:52 I've recently discovered that I've been really tense and uptight when editing my music videos. The last comedic video I did was over a year ago. Fortunately I've realized some funny and original AMV ideas that'll get my "funny juices" going (I realize how disgusting that sounds and you have my profound apologies >_<).

The only problem though, is that I have all these dramatic and intense ideas that keep coming to me. Perfect example: I have a sudden craving to make a video to Trigun and Sarah Mclachlan. I have little or no clue what the video will actually be about, but the craving thrives on the emptiness, struggling to fill the void with the recesses of my imagination. Great, now I'm starting to sound like her. Blargh. :-P

  • A funny thing happened to me on the way here... 2002-06-08 03:28:04 EK: Found a few different versions and songs called Brothers In Arms. One by Hammerfall, another by the Masters of Chant 2000, and another by Mark Knopfler. I'll be damned. I never knew these songs existed when I made that video title up less than a year ago.

I've had a funny though while in the amv.org chat room. If you, say, stick a fork in a man's leg deeply and the blood clots, I bet you that after a few hours he'll probably think "Y'know, this really isn't so bad..." I'm telling you, it would work! Seriously! Listen to me! I am so bored right now!
  • Great Googily Moogily 2002-06-07 20:30:20 EK: There's a song called Brothers In Arms!?! *turns on AudioGalaxy as fast as humanly possible* ^_^

People have seen my profile 500+ times and read my journal nearly 1500 times. And I thought _I_ had no life. Ha, I kid! I kid because I love the rich and powerful! ^_^()
  • Cat hair? No thanks, I ate already. 2002-06-07 17:37:04 NPC: Don't worry too much about those lyrics. I don't need them by 1500 hours or anything like that. Whenever you get the chance to get around to them is fine with me. ^_^

In other news, I finally gotten all of the footage I need for Brothers In Arms 2. All of the parts of Trigun involving Vash and Knives past together is now in my possession! Mwar har har har hack cough snort wheeze...

Speaking of failed laugh attempts, my friend has beheld to me possibly the greatest of all comics. Cerebus, the mideval tale of a great warrior as he travels the land in search of great treasure. He is Cerebus, the ardvark. Despite how lame I've described it, it's a hilarious comic. My personal favorite character is Elrod The Albino. He's an arrogant dumbass who's actions do not back up his words. And he has a dunce hat, which fits him perfectly. Just try out one comic, at the very least. I'm pretty sure most of you will like it.

The mail is very very very kind to me, as well as my grandmother from Georgia. She sent me a check for $100. Holy friggin' toledo.
I've gotten a lot of money from my parents, friends, and relatives since graduation. I love 'em all, and I'm sure they love me as much I love them. They should.
'Cause if they don't... *shakes fist* ^_^

  • Coolin' Time! 2002-06-06 20:02:09 I've let off some steam as a result of me deleting my videos and have successfully remembered a CD I gave to a friend a ways ago, so I got something good happening in my life. I mean, besides breathing and all.
    :-P

Yes I enjoy life way too much.

I've finally updated me website a tad. Still needs a few adjustments, but it'll be fully updated hopefully by the end of the day.

*big yawn* Such a great day to be lazy and do nothing. Speaking of which, I'm gonna go see Sum of All Fears tonight, which I'm hoping will be da' show of da' century. My hopes are too high, so poo on those who don't share my enthusiasm.

Ah, more good news. Thanks to a friend's info, I've finally taken a look at Kevin Caldwell's Engel video. Pretty good. Although I'd have to say that I'm not horribly impressed like I thought I would be. I better stop talking before some K. Caldwell fan destroys me with the power of their inner rage. Yep that'd really blow.

Anyways, I'm gonna go get some overdue chores done. Have fun, ya'll.
'Cause if you don't... *shakes fist*
