Damn, there's alot of people with names that start with SSJ
  • Le Resistance Lives On 2003-03-16 03:50:05 I just saw South Park, Bigger Longer & Uncut for the first time, as well as Rat Race. South Park's movie was better than I thought it would be. I actually really liked it. The soundtrack for it is so great. I'll be sure to pick up a copy next time I see one.... and have 20 bucks =P Rat Race was also pretty good, although the going back and forth between characters got kinda annoying after a while for me, but the comedy was golden none the less. Cows attatched to hot-air balloons. You can't go wrong.

After talking with Zerophite about Sakura-Con (less than three weeks away!!), I'm thinking of slapping together some cosplay for my bulky hammy self. I was considering being Kintaro (from Goldenboy), but my body isn't exactly proportionate, and the last thing I want to do is give the impression to those who haven't seen Goldenboy that Kintaro Oe weighs 235 lbs. -_- So it's off to the forums I go, in search of a plump anime character.

  • SakuraCon-tacular & Co. 2003-03-15 06:12:40 I just learned from the rants of Penny Arcade and MegaTokyo that Gabe & Tycho as well as Piro & Seraphim will be attending SakuraCon. *joy* My first con, and it features two of my most favorite webcomics. *joy + orgasm* Ah, the life of a nerd. And to top that chunk of awesomeness, my friends from Portland decided to drop in for the weekend, so we got to hang out and goof around last night. Hopefully we'll get some bowling action done today. Mmm boy.

I FINALLY got my remake of Padame Excel, my portion of the Episode II Character Spot Project. The last part I had left to edit were a total bitch to get done, combining the stress of learning how to mask images without any help (learning experience, blargh), and the irritating problem with Premiere, where the audio doesn't play in it. Everything else plays (MP3s, computer sounds, video files, etc), EXCEPT whenever I play an audio track in Premiere, whether it's on the timeline or not. However, any video file played in Premiere that has any sound in it will play it's audio just fine. Only when I play a single track does it refuse to make any sound. BAH, I say! BAH!! >< *sets Premiere on fire*

I have probably the laziest schedule of anybody attending any school. Two classes, three days a week, and both run together one after the other. And thankfully, one of the classes actually has something to do with my major, while the other is a fun class I wanted to take just because I like the subject. I'm hoping to major in Multimedia.
Introduction (to) Multimedia Development: 9:00 AM - 9:50 AM, M-W-F
    Acting I: 10:00 AM - 11:50 AM, M-W-F
At the moment, I'm kinda in a bind trying to figure out which college to attend: ITT Tech or Art Institute of Portland.

I'd like to go to ITT Tech because it seems to focus more on electronics compared to the artsy-ness of the Institute. Also, as a bonus, I could hang out with my friends more often, since they're attending it. The problem is that, at the moment, ITT Tech doesn't have any Bachelor degrees in Multimedia. One of the friends that came up to visit said that ITT is extending their programs, but didn't know if Multimedia was part of that extension. I hope to God that it is...
And with the Art Institute, it's pretty much got what ITT lacks. It already has a program involving Multimedia, with a Bachelor degree. And I originally planned on attending the Institute, and made a chart comparing class I could take here that I might be able to transfer over to the Institute. So as it stands, I just have to talk to the head folks at ITT and discuss the program extension. That and take a tour of the place.

To top all that off, I'll hopefully be getting DDRMAX and two sets of pads to go along with the game within the week. *joygasm* Life's looking up, for now.

  • 2003-03-11 02:42:05 I wish I could get this "newbie-drive" out of my system, where I listen to a Rob Zombie or Powerman 5000 song and I keep visualizing edited-to-the-extreme videos, of just plain action and no real purpose except to raise adrenaline, which there is plenty of videos to do so.

And in the editing factor of the entry, Premiere hates me. Sorry, "hate" isn't the word I'm looking for. More like "wishes I had my crotch dressed up like a steak, while underwater surrounded by pirahna". Yeah that works.
I place a couple of clips on the timeline, and it doesn't even register the clips being there, even if I export the video up to that point. GRAH. XO

Oh, and lots of other irritating things happened today, but you probably don't want to hear them. That and I'm too tired right now to write them out. Time for sleep to take over. Night all.
