Whoo! Found my wallet. Apparently I dropped it at a grocery store. And what's amazing is that the twenty that was in there is still there. :P
I shall now celebrate with a bowl of Froot Loops.

Computer Fixed
2003-10-22 07:22:53
Good: Back in action, can do normal everyday computer things on my comp again.
Bad: Old hard drive is dead, now reverting to an old hard drive from one of my other friends. The result? Eight. Gigs. Of. Space. I'm now eyeing my friend (the first one) who has an 80 gig in his computer. :P
Solutionization To This Problem: Gonna get a job and raise enough for an 80 gig of my own, which will be a truly badass moment in my life, when I'm able to do that much editing. Oh yes. Editing.
Speaking of employment, the job scenario is looking mighty fine at the moment (no sarcasm this time, I mean it; it's looking good). For those people in school in need of a job, use the school's career services. From what I've been told, others have gotten jobs a few days after talking to the person in charge of it. At this point in time, I'm feeling good about the future, and actually staying here in Portland.
Mood: Hopeful & Determined
Lastly, if you haven't seen Donnie Darco, see it. Be aware that you might get the jitters from it. I did, and I wasn't even stoned like my friends were.

My hard drive is dead. A virus got into my computer, and now my drive is kaputski, and it's a new fucking computer, no less. And the catch is, I can't afford a new one until I get a job, which isn't looking too bright at the moment. I'm on my friends computer at the moment, and I doubt he wants me downloading too many things onto it, which includes AIM, so I'm going to be away from the AMV Chat for a good while, the way things are looking.
The Final Fantasy VI Project will be put on hold (again) until further notice. However, if people still want to sign up for tracks, or work on their segments, then by all means... ;) In other words, get to work. That way, you can leave it in a folder when you're done, having it out of the way for good. Dew it.
Speaking of which, I might have to move back, to my parents house in La Grande if I don't get employed anytime soon. If I don't have a job by the end of November (when the first quarter of my ITT Tech program ends), then I'm heading back. At that point, the only options I'll have are to get a job there in La Grande (yeah right) and possibly take some classes there, so I don't waste away doing nothing. Moving back sounds bleak when I think of it that way...
Eh well... at least the Final Fantasy VII movie trailer kicks ass...

Crazy. My computer this afternoon started to wig out, restarting whenever it would be in the process of booting up. My roommate kinda had the same thing, so hopefully it won't happen to my other roommate since we all share the same connection. :P
Weird thing is how I fixed it (that seems to happy alot with me, the solution being stranger than the problem): I took my friends Windows 2000 Professional disc to format my drive, but it wouldn't go. After a few tries I gave up and tried booting it up again, seeing if anything changed because of the "halfway-setup". A thing appeared saying it was going over my hard drive, restoring it and whatnot. I'm baffled, but happy nonetheless. :D
Thus ends today's adventure in "Oh Shit! Land"
