Got my main hard drive working after having to format and re-install Windows. After my editing hard drive screwed up for some reason (still suspicious as to why...), I was left with tons of shortcuts and information on my main hard drive that led to nowhere. No choice but to suck it up and deal with it. For now though, no editing or progress on any projects until news of otherwise.
I FINALLY saw Return of the King last night (after two months of putting it off), and I'm serious when I say that the movie made me cry a full four times. It's rare for a movie to hit me emotionally like that (Green Mile and Grave of the Fireflies did a good job as well). It's easily my favorite of the three and a favorite of all time.
The situation with moving out has caused lots of weirdness around here. My parents are planning on moving down to this part of the state to be closer to her kids (me, my brother, my sister). Because of that, there's the idea of me moving in with them. I was originally going to move in with my friends Ben and Carie. However Ben got a job at Intel, which means moving to Hillsboro, a part of Portland that's damn far away from everything I need to get to, so no go with moving with them. The biggest part of this though, is that the penalty for breaking the 12-month lease on the apartment I'm in is a worth of three months rent. Rent here is $550 or so, so that's over $1600. I sure as hell do not want to be paying anything remotely close to that freakish amount (even if it's split between me and my two roommates). So unless I find a way out of the break-lease cost, I'm stuck here until mind-July, four and a half months away. I'll live. :P
Lately, I've found myself relaxing from everything stressful. I'm starting to not over-analyze anymore, I'm happier lately, and most of all I'm not getting bogged down as easily. It's an incredible feeling.
I'll need it for Finals next week. :P
... maybe at SakuraCon, I can sleep in one of the 24-hour video rooms...

My editing hard drive has gone ker-pluck. That means the following things are now beyond me:
- FFVI Character Project segments, including mine-in-progress
- What I had of my RVG track
- What I had of my Project Genius track
- My trailer I was going to send to SakuraCon. All I have left of it is on this bugged SVCD beta.
Life feels icky.
