Fridays are the best day of the week, I watched a TON of anime while I mindlessly clicked stores on Gaia Online for their Halloween Event.
List of anime: Naruto, Bleach, Ergo Proxy, Jigoku Shoujo & Death Note.
I also remembered why I have most of Ergy on my compie but I havn't bothered to watch it. IT WAS DARK. Like horriblyhorribly dark, I had to wait until the later afternoon before I could start watching them simply cause it was too bright in here. Also, it makes absolutely no sense and sometimes I don't feel like sitting through 90% of a series before I "get it".
Jigoku Shoujo is just awesome in every level though I lurve it. Naruto...I can't believe I'm saying this but they had a Filler Arc that was worth watching, it almost made me cry!
I also took the time to update my MySpace space( I love saying that). Oddly Sub0 sent me a message on there, I don't think we've ever talked before and for the life of me I'm not really sure what his message meant lol.
Been trying to motivate myself to work on this AMV idea I have for the Barlow Girls "Never Alone" with Mai Otome, but the idea I have in my head just can't work with my current AMV making skills. So it's starting to fall into the same category as my Part 01: Black & White, Part 02: White & Black project(Vermillion pt 1 & 2 to Le Portrait de Petite Cossette).
Then after talking to someone and having to explain my last journal entry the whole process just kinda aggravated me so I probally won't be even entertaining the idea of another AMV until sometime next week now.
I've learned a lesson about AMVs and opinions this week as well: Specify to people that they should watch the HIGHER QUALITY version of an AMV before they make an opinion. I'm not even really sure why I should have to say that but theres nothing more want-to-pull-your-hair-out frustrating than to get an Op and have a low video quality rating and have them say "I did this off of the XVid version", when it's clearly stated that the .AVI version is no where near as clean as the MP4. I mean if you have a choice between the two and you know you're gonna do an Op why would you choose the lower quality one *boggle*.

Making AMVs gets kinda frustrating for me when I see that lol. I like to THINK that my AMV making skills have gotten better over the last two years. I started with WMM v1.0 and have since moved up to Adobe/Virtualdub/h264 and my ability to edit lyrical/instrumental beats has gotten WAY better, yet my new AMVs either have an underwhelming presence or get the stereotypical "Oh wow it was I loved every second of it, I give it a 2/5."
All the people I talk to from the .Org and my Myspace pals and IRL people that watch these AMVs always give them praise but iunno it just seems to build me up so I get torn right back down after it gets uploaded.
*Scratches head* Iunno I guess the best word to use would be utter frustration and it just leads to unnecissary anxiety when I work on project(The two months I worked on Trinity this fear was in the back of my mind the WHOLE time and was instantly realized >.<).
So if I'm missing some kind of big picture or am required to sacrifice another plushie doll to some dark god of the netherworld to make widely accepted AMVs please let me know! -
