  • Forgot to say 2002-12-27 20:19:51 Thought I just put a reminder here. (2 journal posts in a day! That's rare for me)

    That there's only about 3 more days before my latest vid, Akira Under My Skin will no longer be available for download since the host will terminate it by the end of the month. Don't miss this last few oppourtunities. I may try to get it hosted eventually, but it may not be available for the current forseeable future, so it never hurts to download a vid while it's still available. ; )

    If the size of the file puts you off (for 56k'ers) if you are unsure if the vid is worth your bandwidth, worry not, it's probably my best vid that I've done this year, and I highly recommend it. I saved the best for last I guess.

  • 2002 2002-12-27 19:28:16 Thought I put some thoughts on the year a little early since I don't journal post that often. It's been a suprisingly productive year, I've made about 10 videos, including 1 remake, 3 that were started in 2001 and 2 that are not released yet. Won 10 awards ( I think) this year, and even managed to learn a thing or two about editing along the way ^_^.

    I'm looking at further tweaking my video, which was originally meant for Ian's minivid project, but I've not gotten any replies from him so maybe I guess the project died. Also I'm may be begining a new vid, but I'll have to check out that some stuff works first, as soon as I actually shelf time to do it. z.z

    It doesn't look like that the next 3 months will have any interesting stuff on DVD (for me) which is going to be a bummer. All the good stuff from this year has been released (except TTT of course). Time to play catch up on other stuff then.

    I'm also supposed to receive at least 2 shipments of 'prizes' from 4 contest awards that I've won this year, but I've a strange and funny feeling that I'm may not see either one of them arrive ever (it's already been 2 months). :( 
  • At last..... 2002-12-22 20:10:33 After a year of waiting, I've watched TTT. ^_^

    I thought the movie was unevenly paced - there seemed too much slow build up for the first half and too much happening at the end, it could be of course the fault of the book, but I thought PJ could've moved things around a little bit...

    It was quite funny though. And it had some impressive sequences. Now to wait yet another year. (I'm probably gonna see it at least once more at the cinemas though).

    No news on the AMV front, can't sit down proper and do anything until after sunday probably. ^_^ And slighly off-topic, what a boo-boo the BTTF DVDs were. Crappy Universal misframing.
