I went through my 3-month old profile information today and threw out a lot of useless junk. It's much more concise and it's an easier read now. Try it! Can't believe what I was typing out back then.....
Auugh, not being at work (and therefore not being able to access a high speed connection) sucks. I would love to download and review a bunch of videos (especially the participants of the Mindwarp Contest) but I can't even start that until Monday. On the other hand, being on a one-week leave rocks! =P
So now I have time to listening to new CDs, watching assorted movies and of course thinking/making more AMVs!

What a yesterday...

Woke up, went over to Mindwarp's website, to check if the results of the contest are out, and there it is, as I inched down, I saw Drama - Trigun - Eden, DOH! There goes my best chance I though......
..only to page down to find that I've won not only Best Editing (Eva Opus) and Best Non-Anime (Parasite Must Go On) but the Judge's award for excellence!! (Eva Opus) Woo hoo!
This is big news to me, for it's my first ever award I've won and to win 3 awards in a row is overwhelming.
So what do I do next? Hop on over the AMV.org of course, loading....loading...."Name Server Not Found" Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Looks like my local ISP has decided to practice Murphy's Law and thought it was a good time to screw over their DNS server. So there I was stuck with the good news of the results and unable to read the responses......was it frustrating. I had to call up some of my buddies to do lots of 'cut and paste'. Thanks guys, you made me sleep better....
Well that's it really for yesterday, quite eventful. For those who want to check out the videos, both winning videos (Parasite Must Go On and Eva Opus) are available for download....I would like to hear your comments!

Saddest show I've ever seen

Finally managed to watch Grave of the Fireflies yesterday. Always wanted to watch it after seeing my first glimpse of it on the 'With every light' video. Such a depressing and difficult to watch show, and yet it's one of the best I've ever seen.
As I mentioned to my friends,
I hate watching the show, yet I absolutely love the show.
I don't really want others to watch it, yet I will highly recommend watching it".
Emotional, painful but a necessary, required watching. An absolutely great show based on a very tragic situation. Ghibli shows never ever cease to amaze me.

Since today's me birthday, I thought I release my Eva Opus video to the public. It's the one video I spent the most time on, and most happy with. The full lowdown is in the video description.
