Just realized that I never mentioned in my journal that I have a new video released, about 2 weeks ago, the first of 2003. So for completeness sake,

I'm still alive.
And deciding to stay pretty much at home throughout the weekend, gave me an excuse to finish up those almost-finished videos for a change.
But now what am I going to do? I’ve finished playing all my PC games, no unfinished videos to work on, and being strapped on space and CPU power to be really begin anything new. Gonna be a quiet year indeed.
Maybe it’s time to do some Premiere experiments. And my tmpgenc encoder seemed to have died mysteriously. Perhaps I should (gasp!) do some review swaps? -

The mystery killer virus SARS is still spreading around the world, and it's now reached my country and city. It has killed more than 70 people, infected more than 2000, and has thousands more quarantined worldwide. Suspected cases in 18 countries, including the US and deaths in North America and Asia.
No doctors has even managed to properly identify the virus as of yet, let alone find a way to test for +ve ness or much less start finding a vaccine, cure or proper treatment. In fact the (World Health Org, WHO) doctor who first discovered this virus caught it himself and has died last week.
It is really worrisome. And I am in no mood for video editing. :( -

I tried starting a new video, but was put off by the potential slowness that I'll encounter, plus there's always the issue of not enough disk space. Unless it's something small, I may have to put off any larger projects until I get a newer or faster PC. -_-
As to when to upgrade, that's always a difficult issue. Integrated chipset SATA, where are you? :( -
