New adventures in HiFi

Finally taught myself to get premiere to edit the vob files directly. Certainly a nice option to save a LOT of space and ripping time and if there’s any need to redo the project, it’s really easy to, even if you’ve deleted the video files. There are only 2 drawbacks; things become rather slug..g.i…sh while editing, and 720x480 takes up so much damm screen space, there’s hardly any room for anything else. Other than that, nice!
So this means I’ve started on my newest project, finally moving on from Eva to an anime I’ve not used before. I’m sure glad that it’s been pretty much painless considering and I’ve made good progress and am now in my 6-7 build of the video. At the moment, I highly enjoy watching it (perhaps a bit too much; I should spend more time editing :P). It should be fun when it gets completed. I wish all my future videos would be this painless and brisk to make (so far). I’ll be a very happy person then. ^_^
Also did some re-org on my profiles, and posted a REVIEW SWAP thingy on the opinion exchange forum. Let’s see if it even fills up or not. O.O -
There is a lot of space out there to get lost in.

Space is good!
Yaay! Managed to clean out about 12 Gigs of stuff. Took quite some effort actually but 12 Gigs is 12 Gigs! That should be enough space to maneuver around now for any potential projects, I hope, since I’m about finished with my unfinished projects. Time to move on to new stuff and learn new tricks!
Now only if defragging my HDD doesn’t take all night and day. I miss my 20 MB HDD day....uh wait I don’t miss it (remembers the horrible nightmares due to lack of space on a 20 MB HDD).
Spiderman was ….. okay I guess. Not amazing, but not bad either. Did Bruce Cambell gain some weight?

Why I didn't start on any new AMVs, I've run out of space, again, and far too soon. You think that 160GB will suffice but no....
Now I need to clear up about 10G for movie-length (2-3 hours) source footage projects. This might not be fun. Part of the reason for my lack of space is the fact that I have the entire eva series and 2 movies sitting in my HDD in HUFFYUV, and that REALLY gobbles up GIGS of space. ^_^
The Final Wanderers also seem to be enjoyed a lot of downloads/hits since it debuted 1.5 days ago (over 100 downloads), but the chance of being the first to review it is still open. ^_^ - 7 and counting 2002-05-02 11:38:54 Just posted and announced my 7th video (The Final Wanderers) to be posted on this site. I enjoy the freshness of approach of the video and the variety it brings to the every growing list of varied Shonen Productions videos. I've kinda lost track how many videos I've done in total (not all my videos are AMVs) but....well enjoy! I had a great time making it.
