Was away unwillingly for the last 30 hours, can't remember when I was away that long a period from the internet....
Luckily I was kept busy with some of my videos (trust them to be really good time-killers) and got myself some DVDs. Time to re-learn something new about integrated title-making! (?)

I love quick videos

Got a little bored last night while awaiting Fellow Hoodlum to show to watch anime, so I quickly whipped out a rough build of a new video with what I had sitting on my HDD. I almost forgot how easy it is (relatively) to make a ‘normal’ video after working on ‘complex’ videos for way too long a time. Not having to learn/invent new effect tricks, negotiating VOB hassles, creating frame-by-frame custom animation frames and having a small footage choice makes things much, much easier, it’s almost too much fun.
I’m almost tempted not to make epic videos so often anymore. Almost. :P
More seriously it’s very enjoyable to punctuate your big projects with smaller ones. Gives me a much needed variety fix, and help revitalize your creative juices for future (possibly more daunting) stuff. I love making videos of all sorts of genres. -

Yaay. Finally sat down to write a review for a swap at last, felt rather bad that I put it off so song, so I made sure it was a nice and long one. Hope you enjoy reading it ScooterKid! I feel better now that I no longer owe anyone anymore pending reviews from agreed swaps.
Currently trying out different encoding tests to see the best quality vs size and deciding what are the best results on my video, before doing a final check and that laborious manual keyframe insertion. -

Wrong estimate for my vid, was thinking that the last time I touched it was 60 hours, intead it was 75, which means that I've spent about 90 hours on the video thus far(!) Suprise, suprise. I sure hope this current premiere compile is the last. I hope. I hope. I swear I'm not going to edit vob files directly anymore for a while on my crappily slow machine.
Thank goodness that I got myself a new HDD. I'm rather bad at space management these days (since HDD space has really become super cheap). To think that I used to make videos on a 8 Gig hdd, I should be ashamed. :( It's all the DVD's fault! Those huffyuvs take up too much space!! -

Thought I messed up my amv password 2 days ago only to find out that it works after I cleaned out those pesky cookies. DOH! Bad cookies!
My current video is nearing completion (like that means anything knowing how I often find errors in my video and have to re-edit for weeks after I think it's complete). Yaay! Polish, polish, polish. Fun for the whole family!
Total editing time so far ~ 75 (fun) hours.
