  • Critical mass? 2002-08-01 08:23:58 At some point you eventually receive that many reviews that without an easy (or automated) way of telling who added comments to their review or replies to your reviews, coupled with less and less free time, and the fact that I have given over 140 reviews, it becomes virtually impractical to check if any single person updated their comments or not. :(

    I'll still try to check recent reviews about a week from when they are posted! And thanks to all who gave me reviews (or will give in the future).

    I'm unbecoming myself.

    Damm these short videos are way too easy and tasty to make, next thing I know I'll say stuff like "please review all my vids, I've only got like 15 or 16 videos..... " :P

    Tis is strange. Must stop! Excuse me while I go back to Premiere. 
  • Videos Uploaded! 2002-07-27 20:46:45 BUT !

    Their entries are not yet created on my profile, so don't bother looking for them yet...., besides, I'll have to write up some description first....is this the easiest or the hardest part of video making, I'm not quite sure. I get the feeling that I tend to over-write sometimes (even if I find it hard to begin, but am often unable to stop once I have) Strange. Don't hold your breath.

    And I hope I don't slack off too much and miss more deadlines....that would suck at an epic level. 
  • Dilemma 2002-07-26 03:36:14 I get the urge to begin even more videos, but I fear it madly. Must stop. Or make really, really short videos. Yes. Short videos. Painless. Good.

    Hmmm, or maybe spend the time learning after effects instead. However I am already amazed what I could already accomplish with Premiere alone. I look forward to ver 6.5 indeed. 
  • It's built, but how long will it last? 2002-07-22 03:14:45 I think I'll be done with editing my 'epic' level vid by this week. Just one single edit section to change and it should be done, I actually did a lot of rendering experiments on this one, so the rendering stage should be straightforward.

    And I did get a little bored of making it after over 100 hours at it so I whipped out a secondary video during one weekend, for variety, and even that is done (short, 'simple' vid), so yaay a have again a bunch of videos waiting to get out and as usual I made it as different as possible as the other video which I'm making (much like final wanderers/Evangelion opus and another pair of videos that have not been released yet). Always pair your epic with a short sweet, easy to make vid - seems to be a nice pattern for me to adopt. I find the variety very refreshing.

    I guess I have enough videos in line to space out my releases over the rest of the year. Maybe it's time for me to take a couple of months break after this vids are finished. Hmmm. It'll feel strange since I've been at it virtually non-stop (save a couple 2-week breaks to race to finish games) since February with one project right after the next (at one point I was working on 4 videos at once, alternating between them), but I'm expecting that I'll be engaged in other matters in the coming half-year to consume my time. We'll see if I actually have time to sneak in any more vids during that period.

    I sure hope people will enjoy my upcoming vids, big or small....they've been made with my usual insane quality/dedication.
