  • Heh 2002-10-16 00:58:28 I guess I should chip in my thoughts too while the forums are down. Who knows how long all this will last?

    I truly wonder how many people will eventually return to this site if the forum ever returns. Intentional or not, it's going to have some kind of population control (reduction) effect for sure, the longer it's down, the greater it's effect.

    On a side note, I hope I can get the hosting issues of some of my new videos solved before the forum or whatever it's replacement might be, returns. I don't think any community site will function well without a forum, especially a site with this amount of registered (and active) users.

    Heh, very thankful for the Best of Show award (see my journal post below for it's AWA venture).

    I'm also grateful considering I was up against videos like TriEngel (AWA Best Pro Vid), and makers like Ermac, Nathan, Gambit and of course VicBond, who managed a fair share of the contest as well it seems. O_O

    Unfortunately I'm having hosting problem lately (read: no host) and I am unable to upload the Akira video to be downloaded. Any offers of hosting would be most humbly welcome. ^_^ 
  • Jebus! 2002-10-07 11:01:18 Reading MCWagner's Journal entry revealed that my 'secret' AWA entry was actually one of the 3 videos that was in the running for best video for EXPO. O_O

    I'm not sure if it was shown during the main events or not, but since it didn't win anything, I'm guessing that it wasn't shown, heh at least I can still 'premiere' it elsewhere ^_^

    So close yet so far...maybe I'll have better luck elsewhere. :( ^_^ 
  • YAAY! 2002-10-01 22:00:10 When I first saw someone posted that my video (Eva Potential) won an award at AWA for Best Action video at the expo, I didn't quite believe it. It was actually my second choice entry, and one that I feared was too complex for a contest. But after 3 more people confirmed the same thing, I guess it must be true then.

    YAAY!

    It's quite suprising to hear that actually, I thought Eva Potential was more of a parody video at heart but I guess the kinetic-ness of the video was also a obvious feature, and probably the humor helped too I hoped. ^_^ 
  • Time waits for nobody 2002-09-23 22:44:17 Uh, was supposed to release another video last week, but there were some complications and now things are getting a little tight and I'm having second thoughts on the release.

    On other boring news, I've updated my web page to reflect my most recent release. And curse you broadband, why do you make me wait so long for you to show up?

    Been away from AMV editing for about 1 month now. Such freedom! It's quite hard to start up again. Maybe next week.
