Super Lurk Week
2003-06-27 00:21:49
Though I've not said much for a while, all that's coming up is a business trip out of country so I'll be away for a week. Well not that it really makes any difference since I always am on my default lurk mode anyways.

Enjoy!
Oh and I recently watched the full high-quality 22-minute Half-Life 2 E3 demo, HOLY SHIT! It is also hilariously funny! It was like watching how painful and creative can one kill polygonal characters! Rock!
Did I say HOLY SHIT? HOLY Half-Life SHIT!
It is at last a good reason to upgrade your PC. ^_^

80's Music and Mayhem!
How in the world did they manage to get the rights to so many classic 80's songs? They even have 2 Michael Jackson numbers!

PC reloaded
2003-05-22 22:04:37
Well the full format and reinstall of my PC went better than fine. I managed to restore basically everything in 5 hours which is somewhat of a record for me. I might actually am getting better at this.
Watched reloaded, which was a blast, mostly because I loved car chases and this one is delightfully over the top and long. The movie does have some lazy writing and uneven pace though.
Also caught Animatrix on DVD 2 weeks ago before watching reloaded in cinemas (don't ask) and it's fantastic stuff. Beyond and Kid's Story are my favorites. The arrangement of the shorts on the DVD needs some work though.
Lastly, "My Fading Voice, Your Distant Heart" has managed to win best Drama video at ACEN 2003, which I'm very glad of. Even more surreal that Euphoria was in the same competing category finalist in a very tough category along with Forever and Before by Jeff Lawson. Most interesting. Give all of them a watch.

Crappy Computer
2003-05-10 19:35:44
Been having the strangest problems with my PC the past week, all of a sudden it wouldn't play video files, reguardless of format or 'player'. Sometimes the sound plays with a transparent screen. Other times the PC just freezes, forcing a reboot. By doing random things, the problem will somehow fix itself and probably occour again without warning a few days later.
Just Weird.
I sure wouldn't like to do a complete reinstall. That would suck.......time.
