Two hundred ninety sixth entry - feeling motivated
2007-03-31 15:38:07
Time - 3:12, Noise - Ayumi Hamasaki - "Surreal (Marc et Claude mix)"
I have 1:36 done on THE Video. That's pretty damn good - a full minute between yesterday and today. I told you this video would be easy to edit. There's only one scene that I'm not terribly happy with, but it'll have to do, because I used up all of the parts in that scene in the anime, and I can't replace it without going to a totally different part of another episode. And that would just look out of place, then.
There are... glitches in the footage, every once in a while. They don't show up when I'm editing in Magix, but I can see them when I do a beta export. I do an export for about every twenty or thirty seconds so I can see if my timing all looks on and if I'm missing a glitch.
I hope to be up to the bridge of the song at least by Sunday night. That shouldn't be too hard - and the bridge itself will go very quickly. It's one of the parts that I have cemented the best in my brain.
Clearly, I have issues reading menus. In addition to Dairy Queen's All Beef Hot Dog Parfait, now my mind seems to believe that there are Green Bean w/Dill Pancakes at Glenview. Sounds like the kind of things we should be serving at Jonathan's F'd Up Menu (the restaurant that my brother Jonathan and I have decided to create someday), which includes such delicacies as Peanut Butter 'n Jelly Cheese 'n Parmesan Cheese sandwiches, Tootsie Roll Soda, and Cotton Candy Juice. Oh, and Heartburn Pie, courtesy of my mother making an incredibly delicious apple, pear, and caramel pie - except that she OD'd on the cinnamon. It was a *really* good pie, but I got heartburn every damn time I ate it. ;_;
Oh, by the way. The Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams soundtrack fucking rawks. It's a mix of traditional Japanese music, techno, and a touch of rock. It's basically Devil May Cry in a kimono. Anyway, what's so neat about this OST isn't just the greatness of the songs - it's the fact that they're all *finished* songs. In other words, while they loop endlessly in the game, they actually all have definitive endings on the soundtrack. Neat, huh? Makes it feel almost like a real, conclusive movie OST.
Anywho, I gotta catch up on some Homestar Runner, and then I'm-a play FFXII.
See you, folks.

Two hundred ninety fifth entry - not bad, really...
2007-03-30 14:54:13
Time - 2:41, Noise - Kajiura Yuki feat. Itou Eri - "Optimistic"
I consider it my duty to pimp my videos at least twice in my journal before they fall off of the face of the earth, so here's pimp number two:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=141394
PS: it's getting 2.83 in star ratings. XD
So, I'm still lacking 27 videos that I want back. I've Super Search'd my heart out, posted on the forum and in my journal, looked in The Vault, sent out PMs and e-mails, and I managed to get all but 27 out of a few hundred. That's not too bad at all. But it's not everything - and ideally I wanted *everything.* So, one last shot, this time with links where they're available. You guys got any of these?

Like I've said before, p2p is the only thing left after this, but I have to wait to go home for the summer to do that. If next school year rolls around and I'm still lacking these videos, I think I'm just gonna call it quits. There's only so long you can spend restoring file after file on the HD before it drives you batty.
I was working on THE Video last night. Be proud of me. *waits for pats on the head*

I'm gonna go work on it some more now, I think.
See you, folks.

Two hundred ninety fourth entry - remind me to post two odd pics next time...
2007-03-27 23:13:21
Time - 11:02, Noise - iunno... some Fall Out Boy song... names are too damn long...
Go forth and pretend you like my editing, my minions~!
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=78340
It's an unfinished project thinger. It's only, like, three minutes long. Two videos that are most definitely dead and will not be revived unless I suddenly become an all-godly AMV-making angel. But yeah. Go download it. Leave some comments while you're at it, if you don't mind.
I don't know what I'm going to do right now. I'm kind of bored. I should edit. I should also give that video something for the description. I said I would, didn't I?
I guess I'm outta here for today.
Nighty night, folks. <3

Two hundred ninety third entry - liek, tortally Oh Em Cee
2007-03-27 01:04:12
Time - 11:40, Noise - Shinedown - "Simple Man"
I found the perfect song for my newfound Tsubasa segment in the Clow MEP. So help me Cod, it's the Spice Girls.
But don't go horking up your midnight snack just yet. It's actually one of their very good songs - "Viva Forever." Yeah, believe it or not, they had some very good songs that weren't just pop beats with totally generic lyrics and vocals. No, in the modern day, we leave that kind of pure, unadulterated bullshit to sad artists like Fergie, if she can even be called such a thing.
Anyway, leaving that subject aside, it really is the perfect song, although I regret stuffing it into a tiny little segment. I may choose to complete the entire thing after the project is released.
Oh, wow... I just went away for about an hour there. o_O
I was watching some videos on The Forbidden Site. I like to look for self-composed piano versions of songs occasionally, so I was watching some renditions of The Matrix theme, "Clubbed to Death." The other thing I was watching was this one particular rubix cubing video. For some reason, I just like watching this one video, and the others only vaguely interest me. I think it's the movement and the sounds. It's entrancing. I know that sounds weird, but it's true.
I was going to go more in depth about it, but I think I'll leave that for my LJ. .org folks might take it a bit strangely - as if I'm not strange enough, but you get my point. Nobody reads my LJ, so I can post whatever the hell I want there. That's usually where I go to be emo. *emo tear*
Anyway, I'm still a little dazed from watching that video, so I'm going to end this here.
Nighty night, loves. <3

Two hundred ninety second entry - it's hot here... ;_;
2007-03-26 14:53:53
Time - 2:49, Noise - Hideaki Mastuoka - "Strawberry Kiss Kiss"
Corniest song ever. Courtesy of Tokyo Babylon OAV. Thanks, CLAMP. ~_~
Here - knock yourselves out: http://www.testriffic.com/friendtest/2898081
Most likely, everyone will blow it, but since I only have one close friend, it wouldn't surprise me. By the way, the formatting is fubar'd, and number of characters it allows before cropping is ridiculously small. My answers were all short anyway, and I still had words cut off.
Anywho, it's hot here. And I don't feel like typing.
See you, folks.
