  • Strike! 2005-09-29 14:37:27 So, university is on strike... plenty of free time, that I quickly filled by writing Studio Highlight for the newsletter, keeping a news blog for my fellow studants, and AMV-making.

Remember that wacky AMV with a Burnout song? Well, it turned out harder to edit than I thought, but now I shall finish it. Maybe. Probably. I guess.

My other project, a lovely recap of last year's Kodama (our main anime con around here) should get done in a month or so, but I won't be able to put it on the org (not a single anime scene). I'll try to get a server rolling, though.

That's it for now, and 'til later!
  • We are the lazy generation 2005-03-30 19:46:30 So my PC does not want to fry my HD anymore. Way to go. However, I must study every now and then, and when you put Ragnarok Online into the frame (hey, we don't have World of Warcraft around here) you can easily see why I haven't uploaded anything lately. However, I have been maturing my ideas, so the final result might be better.

My girlfriend has suggested a very weird AMV idea to me, using a song from the Burnout 3 game (buy it) and some racing footage. Among my available choices, I have Speed Racer and an insane, short and wacky scene of Kero (Sakura Card Captor) racing in a toy car. I just can't decide which one is funnier.

Anyway, once I make my mind, it's a simple concept and should be done in a couple days. You might hear more about it as I go on.

    Later!
  • And so you're back from outer space... 2005-02-08 14:53:36 Heh, hell couldn't last forever. Now I'm on vacations (although they, too, won't last forever) and I've been trying to show up at the forums and IRC channel. I can't edit my AMV because my PC is threatening to fry my HD, so I'll just have to fix it before I start such time-consuming activitivies as editing videos.

I'm glad I came back in the right time - VCA a go go, baby! Lots of downloading to do, and some very nice surprises waiting. As a side note, I think I'll keep from voting for Best Comedy and Best Fun this year. With AMV Hell, Hale's Mom, What Lain Bought on eBay and many others, these categories simply have way too many good videos for me to pick one. On the other hand... somebody save the Character Profiles, please.

Anyway, it's good to be back. You will hear more from me as soon as I can.

    Later!

  • Away 2004-09-09 18:15:20 University classes came back again with full force, so I'm completely out of time to appear on the forums, irc channel or anywhere. I'm still thinking my AMV idea over, so at least when I'm able to get some free time things should run smoothly.

I'll miss you guys, but I should be back in a couple months or so. Until then, behave! And make some good AMVs for a change ^_^.

    Later!
  • Audio Hacking 2004-08-27 22:54:09 (read previous entry before this or you won't uderstand a thing)

All right, I do have the Blade Runner soundtrack. In vinyl >_<.

That's it, I'll buy a nice soundcard and burn my old LPs into lossless CDs. There are a LOT of songs I want to use in them, and I won't rebuy every one of them in CDs just to be able to make an AMV out of them.

So, what should I buy? Where can I find a good LP player in Brazil these days? Don't miss the next episode... ^_^
