  • Whatta weekend. 2003-09-28 20:08:56 Just heard the news, MJ, you sly dog, you :D Invite me to the wedding! :)

    Despite not making it to AWA, I enjoyed the weekend.

    Friday night at 6pm, which was 9pm at AWA, I copied all the NES project videos I had to my Hard Drive and had somewhat of an NES project showing on my computer. Half an hour after it ended, I gave MJ a call on his cell and he informed me the NES project was a major HIT! I also taked to Carlos, Danny, Wonka, Beo, Wired Knight, Fluxy, and Vancore on my cell and they were having a great time. :)

    Next day to celebrate the NES Project's success, I went out to a japanese restaurant and got high off the wasabi then got drunk at my cousin's place.

    Today I went out with my friends Jake and Megan since it was Megan's B-day party so I got her the Fruits Basket radio drama cd and she loved it. I learned that she likes to dress up her DBZ figure in Barbie clothes so that would be a sight to see o_O

    Now my destiny is clear, I must go to AWA next year!

    My NES project videos will be up as soon as Fluxy and MJ get back from AWA.

    I made sure that I had my own private NES project showing on my comp though :P

    I can't wait to hear how it went.... but I'm sure this quote by Machine will sum it all up..

    "The NES Project 2003 ended up being a huge success and I hope it will entertain as well as remind people about how much the original NES system really influenced and changed our lives"

    I really wish I was there at AWA now... but I WILL definitely make sure I go next year! I feel very honored to have helped with such a massive project and I wanna congratulate everybody who participated and thank the audience for watching, I hope they had a great time reminicising about the good ol' NES days just as we on the project have. ;)

    I won't be posting my NES project videos till Fluxy and MJ get back from AWA. This was a team effort and I don't want to be disrespectful and leech all the popularity for myself. EVERY video on project deserves recognition.
