Rawkman!
2004-06-07 21:06:06
As a relief to a depressing weekend, I finally got Rockman 2 for the famicom in the mail today after I got back from work, thus completing my famicom Rockman collection.
Pictures...
Rockman 1-6 plus the elusive Rockboard

Megaman 1-6 for the NES

I still need to get Rock/Megaman 7-8 and with the anniversary collection coming out this month (Which I preordered), the price especially for 7 will drop significantly.
I could make a killing on ebay right now but I plan to auction all of these off in the next 10-15 years when they will all probably be worth millions of dollars :P
Can't wait to get my NES GBA SP tommorow! :)

New video posted.... "Kyle Hebert - The Big Bald Beast"
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=40503
It didn't play at the amv contest at A-kon 15 since I made it specifically for Kyle Hebert's panel.
I won't announce it in the amv announcements forum since I'm not sure how many people are fans of his work since Teen Gohan on DBZ was his biggest role and has had mostly smaller roles ever since DBZ wrapped up. Plus it's not one of my best works since it's a bit sloppy due to bad time management on my part. Enjoy I guess..
I heard everyone had a pretty good time at A-kon and it seemed to improve over the con drama of last year. Congrats to Carlos for winning most of the awards and his kare kano vid is one of the videos I've really enjoyed this year. Now I regret not making it to Texas for A-kon this year because after the things that happened this weekend, I would have rather preferred being there than here -_-..
When the person that has been your best friend since childhood promises that he'll spend time with you on the rare occassion that he travels over 6 hours to come down here and doesn't show up, you can't help but feel disappointed. We have been drifting apart throughout the years since his life is alot different than mine but it's always cool when we hang out since it helps us forget the harsh reality of life and just have fun. Lately during times that we plan to hang out with the rare occasion of spare time he gets, he's not been showing up which I can accept from time to time. But I feel we are beginning to drift apart further away because our lives have become so radically different throughout the years. This was the last time I had the chance to see him because I won't be able to see him for a few months or possibly even longer and I feel disappointed that we couldn't spend any time together.
I don't resent him but after all of this, I think that it's time I have to start letting it go and move on with my life. He's having a difficult time putting his life back together and it is no longer in my reach to help him. It's going to be extremely difficult to move on from this but I have to deal with it one day at a time.... :(
Sorry for posting something personal like this when everyone else had a great weekend at Akon, but feeling the way I do now, I just couldn't contain it any longer and needed a spot to vent.

Another weird day...
2004-05-28 01:12:31
It's been exactly one year since I went to Akon... This year, Akon is next week but sadly I will not be going since I wanted to save my money for AWA. I will have a new video for Akon, but not for the contest, but for my friend Kyle Hebert (Teen Gohan in DBZ)'s panel which is the follow up to my "Okubo" video I did for his panel last year. It's not really one of my best works and it's pretty sloppy but Kyle seems to enjoy it.... a little too much :P so if you're interested, check out Kyle's panel for the video :P
I do miss the hot weather in Texas and the cheese smelling airport in Denver...
Some weird and funny shit happened today..
- I went to my local anime shop before work and saw 2 guys park in the handicapped zone and one of the guys was arguing that they were gonna get caught or not. When I walked out of the store, a policewoman was giving them a ticket. *Laughs like Nelson* :P
- At work today, I was pushing around an old woman in a wheelchair and she asked me my name. Thanks to the deep mumbling voice of mine, she got it as "Royan". I've had my name botched as "Brian", "Bryan", and "Rayan" and now I got one more to add to the list. :P
- I went to my sister's dance recital at her school after work and I saw a woman who looked like Stifler's mom from American Pie :P
I still miss Texas :/
