    "two paths diverged in the woods..." will i take the one less traveled? will i try to make it as a manga-ka? or will i go for being an Optometrist? if i try to be an Optometrist, i know ill make a lotta money and have a solid career. but if i try to be a manga-ka, i dunno how much money ill have, but i will be publishing me my story to the world! i wanna share my story! i wanna show people all my charachters and their stories! but, most of all, i really want to engrave a permanent imprint on anyone who reads it... everytime it rains... i want peoples memories to jog back to my story....my story and the bond my charachters share....

    i know you don't understand. how could you, you dont know what my story is about. i think....i think what ill do is ill enter this contest Tokyopop holds every year or so called The Rising Stars of Manga. its where a lotta people submit their stories to Tokyopop, and they pick out a grand prize winner ((who wins a LOTTA money and a chance to publish their story)) then a first prize winner ((lotta money)) then a few runner-ups ((who also win a LOTTA money)) i think ill enter next time they have a contest and if i dont get at least runner-up, then ill find an alternative to getting my story out to the world, possibly becoming a writer, just letting some else draw. though...id really rather draw it myself.....

    oh, about the music..... Harubi, Kaba, Gaki, and I are all watching it, just cuz its a funny story in my and Harubi's case. i put it under MUSIC cuz theres SO many songs in the movie! my parents are back, so i should go.

    before i tell you about my HECTIC day, ill say this. i know i've only read the first 3 books of Fruits Basket, but those 3 books were better than the 4 DVD's. honestly, they cut A LOT out of the DVD's. they didnt even say what was up with Shigure, one of my fav charachters. the DVD didnt go to any depths at all, and didnt really go into depth ((again)) with the charachters. i think after ive read more books, ill definetly like them better than the DVD.....which will be really cool, because despite all the non-depth deals it was good. the books were just better, lol.

    ok! HECTIC DAY!

    it started out really bad though. i felt really ill. yeah i know, just when i felt better. this was....other reasons though. you know, the whole time of the month deal.... heh.

    i took some IBUProfen and took a nap for about half an hour. feeling better, i decided to go in search for this Yu Yu Hakusho fanfic on mediaminer.com i had read earlier. problem was, that theres like 3289 fanfics!! after limiting the genre's and stuff down, i got to 124. still alot, but not that many....i guess. i got pretty goofy during my search though. i dont even know why, i guess it was all the funny stories i was reading on the way to finding that other one, or it could've been my music. most of its loud and fast-paced, and FYI, i cant sing! but i do like to sing, so singin along to this music usually puts me in a good mood, i dont even know why, lol.

    but after 42 pages and lots of silly songs, i FINALLY found the story i was looking for!! i also found a few other good stories while i was at it, heeeheee... ^_^.

    after that, i heard Harubi, Gaki, and Kaba all deciding to rollerblade with one of Gaki's friends, Halsey(8). ((also one of the lil kids we baby-sit)) i got kinnda jealous that they were all hangin together and i was doin basically nothing on the computer, so i did something about it. i decided to go down there and rollerblade with them, something i used to be really good at, but hadnt done in forever cuz my blades are too big. well, when i got down there Halsey had my blades ((i dunno why, they were so HUGE on that child)) and left nothing for me. so i decided to try skateboarding. Harubi got one the other day. Kaba has a bigfoot board cuz my mom doesnt want him to be on a big skateboard yet. anyways, they told me i should try to go down this one hill, its not very steep, so i decided i should. it took me awhile just to summon up the courage though. but when i finally did it, I DID IT! i rolled down that hill without wiping out once. it made me feel pretty good cuz Harubi had a really hard time doing it. i still wanted my rollerblades though, because i dont really like skateboarding.....dont ask me why, i dont know.

    so Harubi traded with Halsey ((cuz Harubi's rollerblades were more Halsey's size anyway)) then i gave her back her skateboard and she gave me my rollerblades. they are about a size to big, but it felt good to be back on blades again, ^_^. Harubi thinks i should do some in-line skating. i think i might , just for the fact that i need some form of physical exercise. and if im going to exercise, it might as well be fun for me right?

    ((background info time: the people that owned this house before us left like 50 half-gallons of water here. we keep them in the fridge thats in our garage)) i was resting when i thought water would taste really good cuz it was soo hot! after awhile, Harubi got a jug and was drinking from it, when suddenly she dumped it on me!! of course i tried to get her back. then we both tried to get Kaba, then GAKI came out and the three of us tried to get HER. then Halsey decided to play! by the time we got out the hose, Garrett(6) ((another kid we babysit)) had come over with his parents, and we got him too!

    we finally decided ((well, my and Harubi really)) that enough was enough, and put the hose and water gallons away before the Henkens kids got her. Halsey's lil brothers, Nick(2) and Cal(4). they are so WILD!!

    so it was when they finally did get here that things really turned crazy. 8 kids runnin loose! it was a mad house! i wont bore you with any details though, ^__^.

    my brother Kaba (9) joined AMV.org a few months ago, and decided today to write in his journal. i took a peek to see what he had written about ((it wasnt anything too interesting)) but i did notice that at the end of his entry he had typed "LaTeR" just like me! heehee, i feel so....like a big sister, lol. yeah, i know it doesnt make any sense, ^_^.

    ok, i got a total of $60 yesterday, $40 from babysitting and $20 from helping my parents clear out our garage. so! i went to Best Buy and bought the 4th Fruits Basket DVD and the 1st Wolf's Rain DVD. then i went to Barnes & Noble and got a NewType magazine. OMG!!!!!!!!! Fruits Basket was SOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cried so hard my mascara was history after the 3rd episode!

    the DVD didnt go into extreme depth though, so im counting on the BOOKS to get me through the parts i didnt really get. well, i GOT all of it....er, its hard to explain....oh never mind.

    .......IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ......IM GONNA GO WATCH IT AGAIN!

    [THOUGHTS] Evangelion ((i made a mistake in yesterday's entry! its called TJ Maxx, not TG Maxx! sorry!))

    i actually slept last night! which was cool, cuz as soon as i woke up ((or rather, my bro woke me up)) i felt determined to make myself feel better. i just had to take this problem one step at a time. my digestive track was shot to hell, so i figured to start there. i didn't feel like eating, but i forced it down my throat anyways. all in all today, i had half a pack of mini muffins, a bagel, a bowl of cereal, and 1 and 1/2 slices of pizza. its not a lot, but my stomach doesnt fell like its gonna turn itself inside out anymore, heh. next was my headache, and for that i just took some Ibuprofen....and when that didn't help, i took a shower. the shower REALLY helped! for a long time i just stood there, letting the water run over me, then i realized i still had to wash my hair...so that ended that, heh.

    im feeling better, but i still feel really uneasy, and i dont know why. huuuh, maybe i shouldnt of read that last Fruits Basket fanfiction! it was really intense! ;_;.

    hee, speaking of Fruits Basket listen to this. wait, i guess if you've never heard of it before i should tell you what its about. ((feel free to skip the next paragraph is you know what its about))

    ok, every generation 13 members of the Sohma family are cursed with the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac, including the cat. never heard of the cat? this is its story: a long time ago, god invited a bunch of animals to this big banquet and told them not to be late. the rat decided to be an asshole, and tricked his neighbor the cat telling him the banquet was the day after tomorrow. then the rat rode on the bull's back all the way to gods kingdom, where he and the other 11 animals of the zodiac feasted, while the cat lay at home, dreaming of a lovely feast the next day that would never come. so, if the person cursed with the spirit of the cat defeats the person cursed with the rat, he would be accepted into the family. members cursed by the spirits are weak, and transform into their respected animal whenever their under a great deal of stress or are hugged by a member of the opposite sex.
    ANYWAYS! Fruits Basket focuses on this girl, Tohru Honda. her dad died when she was very small, and her mom has just died. she moved in with her paternal grandfather, but a few other members of his family were moving in. so he wanted to have the house remodeled, and went to stay with them for awhile. having no more room in their house, they asked Tohru if she had a friend she could stay with until the remodeling was done. she said yes, but she didnt want to be a burden to her 2 friends, so she bought a tent and started living on her own, in the woods. ((she gotta part time job)) a few weeks after she was on her own, she happened upon a house, accompanied by the Prince of her class, Yuki Sohma, living with his cousing Shigure. so, a landslide happens on her tent while she was over at Yuki and Shigure's, so they invite her to live with them ((cuz they cant cook and clean and shit)) then, Yuki's rival, Kyo Sohma breaks through the roof and demands a fight from Yuki, having spent 4 months in the mountains training to beat him. Tohru hates to see people fight, so she freaks out and tries to stop him. she slips on a piece of wood from the broken ceiling and accidently hugs Kyo, transforming him into a cat! she freaks out again, and a piece of wood falls on her head. Shigure and Yuki try to catch her, but Yuki transforms into the rat while Shigure transforms into the dog. the story is told...blah blah blah.

    here's a list of the Sohma's names and their animals
    Yuki- rat
    Kyo- cat
    Shigure- dog ((best friends with Ayame and Hatori))
    Ayame- snake ((best friends with Hatori and Shigure))
    Hatori- dragon, though he actually transforms into a seahorse....long story ((best friends with Shigure and Ayame, also the family doctor))
    HatsuHaru- cow ((likes Yuki))
    Kisa- tiger
    Momiji- rabbit

    the other members of the zodiac...i dunno about yet. the whole family is under the rule of this major ASSHOLE named Akito, and i dunno his deal yet.

    OK!! the point of all this.... leads to futher explaining of two charachters.... sorry!!

    Ayame is the snake of the zodiac and is very laid back and goofy. its hard for him to take things seriosuly, but really looks up to Hatori and listens to almost everything he says. Hatori is the family doctor, and is very serious. he almost never smiles and takes things....well seriously...lol.

    ok, thats it for the story. here's the reason i told you all that:

    me and Harubi were thinking about our zodiac animals and realting ourselves to the charchters in the story. im special however, ~_^ my birthday is on Feb 3, which takes place after New Year's in America, ((making my year 1989)) but in CHINA my b-day is BEFORE New Year's there,((making my b-day there 1988)) so i get to be 2 zodiac animals! guess which ones they are. yes yes that right! the SNAKE and the DRAGON, so i am like both Ayame and Hatori! which really threw my brain a notch, cuz their nothing alike, and also not fully like me. so i decided that im a mix between the 2! heehee, so im goofy, but can be serious......blah blah.

    ok, SORRY that was soo long! ((hey, i did tell you id write you a lot in my last entry didnt i?))

    um, so i watched Neon Genisis Evangelion, and was REALLY good!! im gonna get the 2 DVD next time we go to BlockBuster, heehee.

    huh, gotta go cuz Harubi wants on.

    somebody help.... i cant sleep, i cant eat, it hurts even to walk around. what's wrong with me?? have you ever been so tired you couldnt sleep, well thats what its been like for me. it takes me for ever to get to sleep, then when i finally do, i keep waking up at odd hours of the night, which, in turn, takes me forever to get BACK to sleep. -__-

    ive been reading a lotta FanFics for Fruits Basket at mediaminer.com which i think is really making me ill, because they go way deepper than our average story and really throw my brain into gear. i think its all the shonen-ai ive been reading tho. -sighs- i really gotta try and eat. all i had today was a pack of mini-muffins. i didnt have the stomach to eat anything else. i might talk to my parents about this, seeing as their both nurses.

    today i had to get my glasses at Wal-Mart ((i only wear them at night and in the morning)) but my mom just had to buy-out the damn grocery part! we walked around for like 2 hours! but, i managed to talk my mom into buyin me a book! manga, of course, heehee. but on the way, my mom was like, "ooh look! TG Maxx!" i looked over her shoulder and saw a big sign saying NOW HIRING. i told my mom and she said, "and if you work there, you get customer discounts!" of course, i dont want them, buy my mom loves TG Maxx, so she let me go in there and get an application ((which i have yet to fill out, but i will!)) but of course, she just HAD to go browsing around the stupid store.... but i did get to see some really awesome japanese plates and stuff. i finally got my book ((the first X/1999 yeah, ive already read it but, i wanna own it))

    ugh, i gotta try and sleep ((cased closed is over)) ill write you more tomorrow, k?
