I was definitely surprised by the seven people who voted me into the number 7 spot in the star scale! I'm glad that they took the time to watch my video and actually liked it (I hope)...not that I'm chewing out anyone who didn't vote, but I don't really know if you like it or not...anyway, I'm just glad that the video is done and on the amv site...Although I kinda slipped to somewhere in the eighties, I'm still happy! Hopefully I get more opinions in the following weeks, so I'll keep my fingers crossed!
And already I've started thinking about my next project...I thought it might be weird already thinking about it, but I figured there's no point in waiting if I'm feeling this great about making AMV's...I had really wanted to redeem myself with "Emotions" by Destiny's Child, but last night I really gave the lyrics a good looking over, and although I can probably fit the characters in the way I want to, the direction that I want to present the video in will definitely not fit...so I've turned to R.E.M's song "Everybody Hurts" to fill that void...it's a pretty slow song, and it'll take loads of work to get this project looking how I want it to and may or may not be posted if ever finished...but I'm glad I can try this new direction out...If it comes together the way I want it to, it'll probably be my best attempt in story telling... - Steadily moving... 2003-07-13 04:56:33 So now I finally finished everything....with massive emphasis placed on "finally". I finally uploaded the video (no easy feat for a dial-up in Chicago), finally finished my wacky logo (again, with massive emphasis on wacky!), finally got it all done......so enjoy it if you can (http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=20246) and don't be afraid to drop an opinion either.....I really want to know if people are actually finding it alright....
- Still seeing red... 2003-07-07 19:28:12 I get the feeling that my unfinished logo is getting more praise than the actual finished video...O_o...go figure. Nonetheless it's pretty much done except for compressing the files and all that fun stuff. I think it's just going to come across as one big in-joke to me the way I cut the scenes...bah...I'm too tired to really spend another day making everything 'perfect'...I'll settle for my obligatory 'B'
- Finished....well...err... 2003-06-24 00:22:57 Finished...okay well not totally finished...but just about. I have a few lip synch issues to sort out and a few scenes that are now coming up as questionable, but until I can get a friend to see them, I'll just work on compressing it...and I think I have a logo for myself as well...I was hoping to come up with something original, but seeing as how I really don't want to use CK anymore, I'll use something I heard off of Buffy...funny though...

Hmm...I really don't have a lot to say other than that anyone who eventually reads this should go check out a video a friend of mine recently finished (member name: lilgumba). She just premiered a new video and I know she'd appreciate an opinion. I'd leave one, but I can't download it just yet (I can't decimate the phone bill with another long download just yet)...but it'll get done soon.
As for me...I'm coming along slowly but surely. That stupid strobe effect completely erased any hope of me getting my video to look halfway decent. I haven't scrapped the project, but I certainly won't have any desire to premier it should it get done anytime soon...
