Thanks again, your opinion means a lot to me.
Lol, no, I haven't followed Strato for a while. Even though I'm still meaning to pick up Elements pt. 2.rubyeye wrote:{as in the case of the STRATOVARIUS "soap opera" that's going on - are you following that shit? funny!!}
To be honest, that video was just the inspiration for this video in particular. But this video was the inspiration for me to be sure to put a lot of time into what I do decide to make.rubyeye wrote:(i.e. I took a look at Beowulf's Imagine video. I can see where you got your inspiration)

Personally this video doesn't capture me all that much, the concept and scene selection is nice and refreshing. But the one thing that bothers me is the editing, and thats like 70% of my likeness of most videos. Its a little too random for me, all these effects and tempos were being thrown out at you with no real order to it (this is based off of one watching)
I was hoping for some more organization of the numerous parts of the song. For example, the beginning was a repeated tempo, but the editing was just catching random beats here and there and pretty much changing all the time. Maybe because I'm just picky, but thats how I feel. The effects were a lot more organized but they wern't all that interesting, didn't impact the moment as well as it could of. Overall if you knew the anime and liked the song this could be a nice video. For me I don't know story of the anime, and the song was just a normal listen. Since everyone has different opinions mine probably means nothing.

Well... I can't really just say I spent hours working on timing and flow after you said I was matching random beats. You are entitled your opinion, and the sync I aimed for simply wasn't the kind that you look for or like. Frankly, I think that it's not very random at all... though I do switch between syncing with drums and vocal inflections. Not much else to say.
