- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

How to tastefully edit your AMV for conventions.
(Cool people seem to like to make fancy title pictures to put here. I'm not that cool.)
My second video, but first one I've "announced" (by request). Not really sure how to do this, uh... criticism please? I'm open to any and all comments, I promise not to hate you if you think it's teh s uck. Also you should it know it won best action at JACON this weekend. Not really sure why, its not a mind-blowing, non-stop, not-really-sure-whats-going-on action video. On the contrary I tried to make it very story driven. Maybe you can tell me why it won?
P.S. Don't worry, it isn't an 8 minute AMV.

WTF IS WITH THE EUREKA SEVEN?
/me GETS
EDIT: HOLY FUCKING SHIT. That was probably the best video I've seen in the past week or so. I was NOT expecting something like that. Your pacing was simply BRILLIANT...the way you followed the buildup to the climax of the song was nothing short of genious. And I loved the first minute or so. That was pretty clever.
Overall, really an excellent video, I'm truly speechless.
Seriously though. Where is all the Eureka Seven coming from? Not that I'm complaining, it's my favorite anime...but still >_>
Oh yeah...excellent visual quality as well.

Nice video. And the title is amusing - bonus points.
Dramatic videos can also contain action (and there certainly is some in this video).
I can see why this won. Like 'Sky mentioned, the pacing in the video is great. It has a great flow, lots of 'internal sync', and the 'mood sync' is spot on.
Plus, the first minute is fun. (<s>Pandering to</s> Acknowledging the audience always helps.)

Very solid video
4/5
Only complaint is the song itself, but no stars lost for that because its just my personal preference. Its such a frustrating song because the ENTIRE thing is build up and then it just kinda fizzles off at the end and never really hits a high point.
On the positive side I loved the creativity used in the beginning, good stuff. Good video quality as well, a huge improvement since your last one.
Huzzah for requests!

There I was... Thinking that a song with a long anthem + eureka 7 would be insta win no matter what... and got all my hopes shattered.
Instead of writing a long post(because I'm lazy), I'll just quote someone. But this time it should be read as sarcasm.

Off-hand I'd say it's because it was aired on CN. Yay for over-exposure. *is still fuming over the over-exposure of FMA*CrackTheSky wrote: Seriously though. Where is all the Eureka Seven coming from? Not that I'm complaining, it's my favorite anime...but still >_>

Hm. It's ok. I do really like the intro, it made me chuckle. Nice video quality, but the story seemed a little "blah." I'll write you up an op.
