This video, plus the fact that Air is getting a US release is making me happy. Well, the actual video is kinda depressing, especially if you know the story... Nice video anyway!

wow. this video is very much deserving of my:

Awesome job on the synch and mood of the piece. You used alot of synchs and effects in this to actually emphasize the mood and story, which is what I like to see in an amv.

One major problem though: Waaay to over filtered. It has what I like to call the pastel effect, where color edges become apparent where gradients should be, making it look like a pastel painting rather than an animation cell, Either your settings may have been too strong, especially if you used a DVD source. For the Air Movie also, which has alot of softer color gradients in it, you should also have probably used the "w3d" option for Deen instead of "a3d" or "c3d" as "w3d" preserves gradients to avoid the pastel look.

Other than that,

This video is very similar to your previous one, Lost Paradise editing-wise. The audio was okay but i've heard an error at 1:03 (it might be my comp but i don't think so). Nice mood sync and some masks were great. Overfiltered or it was an effect i can't decide.

. But I must say that the edition was beautifull, but I just can't stop thinking that all romance AMVs are kinda the same :/. Kudos for the edition as I said before. Hope to see your next one soon Danielle

I know how much you like this song, and I was worried that you weren't going to like the video. As for the synching...I usually try to synch to beats that I feel will be fitting, and I guess it didn't work out as well in this case.

And you're very welcome for making it. I love the song, and I really did enjoy editing the video.

Yes, like angelx03 said, the movie is pretty colorful and bright...I did mess with the brightness in contrast in a couple spots, but just for synching purposes. The scenes are all pretty bright, in general, though.

I know, it's awesome that Air is finally licensed. Exciting stuff. ;p I agree, the video is very depressing to those who are familiar with the anime....I was hoping to get that feeling across, especially toward the ending. Thanks for the comments!

Hmm, I actually did use the "w3d" option for Deen when I filtered this. But, I admit, the settings I used were a bit high, so I'm guilty there. I do agree with you that it could have used less filtering...I have a habit of going overboard with that.

Anyway, I appreciate the comments, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

I'm not sure about the audio error you're hearing...I listened to the same section, and I couldn't hear any issues.

Yeah, I just had to make things difficult and mess up the file extension.
