The Trouble: So bad,* you'll cry

Post by shaister » Thu Apr 26, 2007 10:33 pm

>_>

<_<

Do you like long, slow AMVs featuring people staring at the moon, smoking lots of cigarettes, and moping around in bed? Sure, we all do! That's why I know you'll love my hot new Animated Music Video:

Starring:
Yasu (the bald drummer) as the letter writer (aka L. Cohen)
Nana (the female guitarist) as Yasu's lover and bandmate (aka Jane)
Ren (the male guitarist) as Yasu and Nana's former bandmate, who done stole Nana from Yasu

Video quality: Probably won't make your eyes bleed
Audio quality: Quite good
Digital effects: Minimal
Lip sync: None
Every other kind of sync: Lots!

*Michael Jackson's kind of bad

Now this is odd...
Ive been crying a lot lately.
Somehow... due to AMV's
I love to wear absurd and totally impractical garments. What's more, I derive great pleasure from spending time with women for no apparent reason.
I'm just that kind of person. - Sousuke Sagara

I didn't cry at all

..., but it was very nice to just lay back and listen to this music and watching those guys doing almost nothing at all. Cool vid to chill!

The scenes were too slow for me (I think the song would still allow to have a bit faster scenes... and that " a bit" would change a lot) , and scene selection showed too much scenery and too less people (for my taste) ... Still... somehow I wasn't bored at all - so big gratz for the mood creation. I'm torn in scoring this vid. If I were to judge it only technically it would get 2, but the mood in this vid is so significant, that it helped this vid a lot...

Thanks for the feedback. The song is quite hypnotic. When you say "technically," do you mean the pacing and scene selection, or the editing, picture quality, etc?
