Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Seems I forgot to hit "Reply" again. -_-

Since you told me about this at AWA I was looking forward to it as I could hardly imagine how it would turn out.
Some scenes still look a bit off but others are just plain fun goodness.

Very well done. The guitar solo is pure pwnage.

Now I'm looking forward to nekkid models. Do it. Please!

Yotsuba wins.

I downloaded this last week, but totally spaced out that I had it. I really enjoyed it, and dug the creativity of the use of Yotsuba.

:o I thought I already commented on this. I must've forgot to hit submit ;p

I thought your manipulation of Yotsuba through blender was pretty neat. She moved almost naturally as if animated. The only complaint would be the eyes as others have already mentioned. Good job nonetheless.

I wonder how many people that see this will be tricked into thinking Yotsuba is actually animated now....

There's something intangible about this video that I absolutely have to love. Really, the title "Daydream" just make everything come together.

And to think I had to wait ten days to say that.

okay due to sto's necropost I pushed myself to reply :o

definitely a very awesome video with good animation that also stands on its own rather than being just a gimmick.
as for the editing I would have expected a bit more track motion in the chorus as well as some more crossfades editing-wise (effects other than animation weren't necessary).
ho-hum, I agree with the pupils being somewhat static and don't like the way you blended between shades and non-shaded parts at times (hey, it's one of the most difficult elements I encounter in my own ova too), but overall this proves that we have still innovation along our (chan)-lines ;p

8.6/10

P.S.: also, the guitar scene is win for the uber 9000th time \:

Maybe at some point in the future :O (I'm debating on doing a 5 char vid next...but the chars in the vid may need some provocative clothing, maybe not nekkid)

fix'd :) Thanks a bunch for the comments...I'll be paying extra attention to my next bit of animation per some of the comments posted here, good stuff

Good comments, thanks for watching :) I fought myself real hard over the actual synch and flow of the vid...I still hate lots and lots of stuff about it, but I learned long ago to chut up and see what happens. Also, I have this sweet idea for a new type of cel shader (it's actually an old idea, but I think I figured out a new way to mess with it) And you're working on an OVA? :O Lemme see :O I'm thinking of doing something like that next.
