People in highschool pegged me as an outcast who didn't even bother trying to fit in. I was just lazy and distracted.

In college people pegged me as the knowitall doormat too nice to say no if you ran to her at the last second before an exam or assignment. I was just using them since I learned more teaching others than I did studying on my own.

Coworkers pegged me as an overachiever with endless motivation coming from seemingly nowhere. I just abhore people who don't do the job they're paid to do.

Casual acquaintences peg me as a hermit. I agree, though it would be easier if I lived further from civilization.

People who actually know me realize I've been a sociopath all along. The good harmless kind, not the bad kind with two dozen bodies buried under his house.

Online? Who knows.

When I first started fanfiction I caught a people referring to me as "cute and sweet". I think they thought I was shy. When I broke from those forums they called me "bitch" instead. I guess they weren't prepared for my disgusted confrontational reaction to unexpected censorship.

My first year on the org I caught people calling me "nice". I think it's because I was getting warm fuzzies and a lot of adrenaline from mini-crusades. Lately I was referred to as "the source of all evil" so I figure it's the same as last time. Online it's either "nice/quiet" or "bitch/loud". There is no in between. ^_^

I'm narcissistic, but at least half of it is schtick. I'm also awesome so its a deadly cycle.

People think I am very funny and I tend to make people laugh wherever I go. I'm talkative and outgoing, and can be somewhat of a charmer when I want to (I rarely want too). I'm a typical 21 year old in the sense that I'm ready to takeover the world, and can fuck for hours into the night.

People who know me, know that I am somewhat of a lonely person, as my SMOLDERING GOOD LOOKS AND AMBITION tend to alienate as many (if not more) than they attract. My ego will be my downfall in this life, and its already gotten me into a little professional trouble. I am blessed however, so nothing bad ever really happens to me.

In bigger groups (at school and at work), I'm typically the 'quiet one'.

With a couple people... not so much >.>

Girl Next Door with Very Good Grades. I did get pegged as a semi-cheerleader when I was involved in dance, followed by a stint as the drama type when I did theatre. Rarely hung out with nerds since I wasn't willing to have one-sided conversations.

I don't usually get stereotyped. My occasional nerdiness/dorkiness is for some reason offset by my love of metal. And I don't say dorky things, cuz I don't initiate conversations. But when I'm stereotyped, it's pretty much always as Bookish Nerd. I do have that look. And when my hair was down to my waist, I was stereotyped as Nerdy Metalhead. Which I am, so it's cool.

I'm definitely some sort of nerd or geek, but the exact type changes on a day-to-day basis. Library nerd is common, but otaku and "smart girl" show up pretty often too. Drama geek is on a seasonal basis. Angry White Girl has also been known to show up. Outside of my normal social interactions I'm a cosplayer (which may or may not fit into "otaku" depending on your definition - it's still geeky though).

I just call myself "weird" most of the time.

Haha, in some circles though there tends to be an association of dorkiness with metal (I heard that from a few people, anyway; not that it bothers me).

I'm reluctant to use nerd/geek/dork for myself, in part because while I get what these things mean, the (micro-)culture I'm from didn't really have stereotypes associated with that. In fact for me most of the things people associate with 'nerd' (only exception being a sociopath) specifically are actually very positive, but I guess it's just the fact that I come from an intelligentsia background.
