(for those wondering, check the MEP thread. Oto fsk'd up badly and lost some files...)
No need to thank, it was pure realism. My average reaction time is about equal to the memory span of a goldfish.godix wrote:I'd like to thank all those other people. And especially Otohiko for not ducking.
Talking? What about editing for it?krzT wrote: I had lots of fun discussing the project with jasper since last April and...it's finally finished!!
Congrats on the distinction of making the only horror/terror (as opposed to godix's slightly tongue-in-cheek horror/drama) segment

Who the hell is that 3rd face?Kitsuner wrote:I love you guys so much.

And thanks for making some of the funkiest stuffs on this. My brother, who by the way didn't really like the project, seems to absolutely dig your 1st track (the cat soup one).
Nice!Ileia wrote:Yay! I liked it! Some of the stuff made me laugh really hard. But I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone reading the topic =x
We watched this at Koop and Atom's apartment, along with trythil and peropero and it seemed to be generally enjoyed. It was like our own private AMV showing.
I bet at least one of the 'stuff' was Kit's, wasn't it

I'm sorry, but my last name name is ROSS, not ROS5Koopiskeva wrote:it rocked, but not the world.
Ha! You were worried?anubisx00 wrote:![]()
Yay! I didn't have the only comedy track ^_^!
I personally was far more concerned if any besides mine were gonna end up not comedy/action... glad I was wrong!
Thus the note in the descriptiondownwithpants wrote:HAY LOTR IS NOT THE ANIME

Actually, that's the *cough*, no, I'm not gonna comment on how that track ended up there >__>
I remember when I got back from my trip in august and had Jasper fill me in on the progress... as soon as I heard "some days, it just isn't there" + "Kitsuner", I rofl'd already.i enjoyed the two tracks my blurbs spawned - dirty little secret - which came out edited quite well, and somedays it just isn't there - for it's insightful interpretation of the blurb.
Oh snap. First godix, now you. Who else are we missing?Minion wrote:what the hell is this? an MEP that i can't find enough wrong with to make fun of? you've found my weakness. o....
All the longer and stranger for us, but nice to hear it works well in 20 minutesWillen wrote:What a long, strange trip it's been...

I have to confess that one reason I kicked it off the original line-up was because as soon as I saw it, I uh... died so hard that I knew it needed to come at the end. (for those who don't know - godix originally made it as Track 3, given the options of either "rime of the ancient mariner" and "food. lots of food" - and using, well, both).Kalium wrote:Yeah.... That's what I get for giving ideas to godix.downwithpants wrote:oto got pwnt by chickin kekeke
I would feel guilty, but it was too funny for that.
I'm almost curious what the next title would've been like had it stayed there

I have to confess.Flint the Dwarf wrote:Getting now. And why didn't you get me a birthday present?
I don't know your birthday

Thanks to you too. Sure took you a while to deliver that track... but eh, in the end it was probably worth it! (yours has the distinction of being the most multi-sourced one)supersayian313 wrote:i cant believe its finally here. i am honored to be in this project with so much talent. the end result is better than i expected. it was put together well. great job everyone.
Aw. Can you PM me the LQ anyway? I actually lost that track (along with my lossless files) and would like it just for the hell of it.inthesto wrote:I've been o
And I don't have a HQ version of my track anymore anyway.
(for those who don't know, inthesto was also originally up for track 3, using "food. lots of food" - but the content was such that it'd make one not want to come near food for a while. It was vetoed off local by a mod.)
We don't mind, so long as you get. Which'd be strange if you didn't, seeing how you were one of the more active peeps on the whole thingCoffee 54 wrote: Oh right, I was in L.A. all day yesterday, that's why its taken me so long to actually get the video and post here. Sorry about that.

Props on using Voltaire in a track by the way. Was a real joy entering another Voltaire song into the .org database (yea, I'm a bit of a fan)

Great! Looks like the variety we expected did the trick. Thanks on that.Streicher wrote:I had no trouble watching this in one sitting. I always was looking forward to the next track and it was very hard to foresee what would come next.
I guess it's sort of unavoidable; especially when you consider that it's a game that's supposed to be 'blind', and for the sake of not cheating I don' t think we could just tell the writers "that's not a valid title!"Only bad thing is that some editors hit their given title so good that the new title came out very similar.
But yea. There was a bit too much 'innocence' in there

Do I hear...Moonlight Soldier wrote:That was awesome
Profit?

Aw, thanks! At least someone likes what I did with it.*inverse* wrote:I enjoyed that.
The Haruhi/Death Note intro was amusing
More than one apparently^BlooD^ wrote:uoooohoooh the begining was awesome![]()

I should upload the 'original' (music-less preview) version of the intro sometime. People might laugh at the 'audio' I used in it.

Thanks all!

As a total side note, I actually told the truth. I really don't have any source with sailing ships. That entire track can be credited with the fact I couldn't do anything with one of the lines given but decided I would do both lines anyway.Kalium wrote:I'd like to thank godix, for having so much fun with my titles and attack Oto with chicken...
After seeing the project I gotta give it thumbs up. I think this is the first project that's come out of the MEP forum that didn't once have me thinking 'how much more of this crap is there?' Some of the tracks greatly surprised me as well. I got around half of them wrong when guessing who did what. I would have bet heavy money that 'Skeleton in a closet' was by Jasper.

I was more surprised by the one that Jasper actually did. Didn't expect her to pull a LAMV on it...godix wrote:Some of the tracks greatly surprised me as well. I got around half of them wrong when guessing who did what. I would have bet heavy money that 'Skeleton in a closet' was by Jasper.
KrzT's surprised me by actually going into horror; wasn't a stretch, really, but I didn't expect it to actually take that title totally seriously.

As far as your track... I hope it's only you. Actually, I thought yours was the least troublesome to work with technically, and if there's any mis-sync, I still can't see it.
There is one track I'm slightly worried about as far as possible mis-sync since it was one of two on which we actually replace the audio, but I won't say which.

PROJECT INTRO - ORIGINAL VERSIONkrzT wrote:Haha, dew it! Yes, I really did edit it without music at first.
