I must admit, I like the style. That said, some portions really annoyed me. The letterboxed sections in particular. It's already 16:9. Cropping to avoid subs looks really bad on a 4:3 screen.

This is an interesting The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya video. The sync was good and the presentation was very nice. I like how you used a different aspect ratio (letterboxed) in spots. The song fit with the footage, oddly enough. Or should I say, you fit the source well with the song.

Video worked for me without any hiccup at all. I was partly disappointed that though you used HD sources, the quaity wasn't really up there. I think perhaps a h.264 encode could have been better to maintain greater quality if file size was a concern of yours.

Some parts of the video have bad quality, for reasons I'm ashamed to explain. I know the problem, I could fix it, but I'd rather move on to something else. It won't happen again.

I thought the video had quite some chill, it was nice to watch It had some flaws here and there in terms of timing and especially masks though.

Thanks alot. Alot of the effects are done very unprofessionnally on purpose, so as to mimic the style of episode 1. In many ways, it's a vid fans of the series will appreciate more.

Well the letterboxing was, above all else, an artistic choice. But seeing as I edit on a widescreen iMac, I'd never thought about how 4:3 screens would show it. You've got a point there. I'll have to watch that.

Hmm, interesting stuff, i liked the concept overall, just those black bars were... disturbing arrrggghhh
