Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Harima's gone and Imadori's depressing

Post by mtarzaim » Mon Dec 25, 2006 1:33 pm

Would it be somehow related ?
I hope not ! ^^

But I needed a title to introduce my last amvs on School Rumble.
So here are they.

I've tried to tell a "What-if" story, about the most feared faction : HarimaXnobody.

I give my own explanation about the Imadori mystery, giving him a deeper psychology, and a reason for his goofy/pervert attitude.

I sincerely hope you mean latest and not last. Or else last for this year.

I couldn't get into the harima one, it seemed a bit too... disjointed, nor did it help that I'm not a fan of the music for it. Second one was great though. :)

I think it is a common thing, among the AMV editors here who speak ESL, to use "last" when they mean "latest" in referring to their videos. This certainly isn't the first time I've observed this phenomenon.

I always mix up "last" and "late" ...
So, yeah, I've still got some ideas to put in some more amvs. ^^

About the song choice for "Because Harima had to go", I know it wouldn't be appreciated by all of you. It was the piano parts (at the begining and at the end) which convinced me to use it in an amv.
And I still think my amv sticks much better to the lyrics than the original video clip does ! :p

Many thanks for your comments ! :)
