Anime Guidelines
- Must be a true magical girl anime (Sailormoon, Fullmoon wo Sagashite, Nanoha, etc.) Series like Mai-Hime/Otome or Utena don't count.
- Any given series may only be used twice during the MEP. However, if you're doing a piece with a ton of anime and only have <5 second clip of a series, I not going to count it (I'm talking to you, Moonie.
)
- Please avoid overused songs.
- No repeat songs.
- Keep it org-able!
- New creations only, please.
- Length: Up to 2 minutes (I'm okay if it goes a couple seconds over, though.)
- Any AMV genre is fine.
- Please have two second of complete A/V silence (no sound and a black screen) before and after you're clip. It makes doing transitions easier.
- Clean video only! No fansubs, credits, DVD hardsubs, logos, bugs, etc.
- 640x480 aspect ratio (please letterbox any widescreen submissions)
- Use a lossless codec, preferably Huffy.
- Encode at 24 fps
- Send an uncompressed wav audio in a seperate file
MEP Timeline
- Sign-up Ends: January 31
- Final Videos Submitted: when all the segments are done
- Release Date: a week after that
