Bug with Firefox?

Post by dj_ultima_the_great » Wed Nov 08, 2006 8:52 pm

Well, ever since IE started giving me issues with the .org, I switched to Firefox. Seems to work well, but it has one odd error that's beginning to really irritate me.

When I would go to download videos, it used to tell me that I had "too many videos downloaded" when I had only six of them that needed star ratings. Eventually, it happened when I only had five of them on my list. Now, I'm down to four. It's getting really frustrating.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot? Thanks.

I've had a number of odd issues with a lot of sites if I've left Firefox running for a long time, like it won't find the CSS stylesheet for the Org.

I've always fixed it by clearing my cache and cookies. Have you tried that yet?

Well, I just tried clearing the cache and cookies, and I restarted my compy for good measure. It's still giving me the problem. ;_;

That doesn't sound like a browser problem. If you load up the site in IE now, it doesn't give you this same problem?

Hm. Well, that's strange. IE didn't used to do it, but it's giving me the problem as well now (even after clearing the cookies and cache).

That happens to me once in a blue moon...I'll have 5ish videos and the site wants me to give stars. I just hand out the stars and continue DLing..

So... does anyone have a clue what might be going on? Or are we all just hoping that if we ignore her Ultima will shut up? :P :|
