A bit of a mess, this. Submitted to Yaoi Con 2006's AMV Contest, not surprised it didn't even make the cut but I had fun with it, nonetheless...

As far as I'm concerned, yaoi-con could have used more multi vids. But I'm very biased, so, yeah.

That was a fun vid. ^__^ Are all of the Village People's songs gay, or what? Heh, you had some nostalgic shots in there, so it ended up with more of a cute/fun feel than actual comedy. And the mix of anime was weird, I like that. Steam Detectives? I nabbed a shot from that anime once way back when, but now I wanna check it out. It looks really cute. My favorite parts are Here is Greenwood (needs a *lot* more yaoi amv exposure) and Saiyuki (given with this song), especially the snow scene and the 'flying jeep' bit - that's the nostalgia. I'm not sure about the YnM parts, though, I disliked Hijiri for being a Hisoka-clone, really really, hate that kid. I end up glowering every time I see him. >.>

One Piece - that was a surprise. I never would have linked that with yaoi vids till this weekend. Now I wanna see more gay!Zorro. Sanji's already there.

Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, I want more Here is Greenwood (an entire Shun character profile and there's that other bath scene that needs to be shown).

And yes, I was surprised at how many vids included One Piece (including the one from the Skypiea arc featuring the guys with the weird hair). Definitely something to explore..

Anyhow, it was a cute vid. My only suggestion would be to filter and up the saturation/contrast on some of the older clips so that the quality difference between the series isn't as noticeable. And the ending was a lttle abrupt. Other than that, it was light and fun.

Thanks for the advice, yep, I'm already planning another multi-anime vid and I know I'll have to re-rip some episodes, too since my external drive crashed and took a lot of ripped episodes with it
