Survival Horror MEP Interest Guage

After Disappointment i'm craving some more Silent Hill 2 editing...

Pretty straight forward - only Survival Horrors allowed:
Main Few:
+Silent Hill
+Resident Evil
+Fatal Frame

I was originally planning just a Silent Hill Series MEP but i'm worried there won't be enough interest, as i suggested that on a silent hill forum and got no reply at all. So if there's support for a straight Silent Hill mep then i'd prefer to do that. If we were to do this Silent Hill the movie would be included but limited.

To minimize scene overuse a minimum of 2 editors per game would be incorporated.

Note: (If Necessary) I can supply lossless footage for the following:
Silent Hill
Silent Hill 2
Silent Hill 3

So whats the rest of the world think?

It's a great idea and I'd look forward to it, just you might find it hard for people to find the sources to participate in this. I pretty much learnt this when I tried to create 'Project RPG' (using FMV/CG only) and I hardly had a response... but good luck, I encourage people to join this =)

Yeah, that will be the biggest problem, which is why i offered the lossless sources - i'm also undecided as to whether or not i will use a set mix or self-serve policy

I like the idea, and I'd be interested in this myself, but I've got other projects I've got to get to work on. When one of the two in my sig labeled "In Progress" are done, I might just come back and see how this one's progressed.

Im not sure if id have enough footage to do a vid with.
I can supply some footage from reisdent evil code veronica if someone needs it.
Gotta check and see if my discs still work^^

One thing i love about Resident Evil 3 is it uses all pre rendered background images.
If you look on the disc you will find every image from the game on it. If anyone needs them i can upload them.
I have them ripped from the DC version

i have fatal frame 1 and 2 on xbox - also Obscure but my capture card is like a rag soaked in urine - its just hopeless, so if by some chance somebody knew how to rip xbox game cinematics then i'd also be able to supply/use that footage.

And great, i've heard a lot about FF3 but i've never played it so i'm glad you're interested!

And thanks for the offer Eva-Fan, I think if i get another 10-15 replys at least, then this should be good to go. I'm definately hanging out for Dj_Ultima to see this also a few of my other forum friends.

Hmm... I've never been a part of a MEP before. This one sounds really interesting, though.

The only thing that's making me iffy (besides the fact that I might not be up to par with the other editors) is the song. If you do a set mix, I'll have to hear it first before making my decision. If you do self-serve, I have one or two songs that might work.

I'd like to use Silent Hill 3, since it's my favorite of the SH games. However, my capture card is nine shades of crap (as will be evidenced when I release my next video...), and only seven useless scenes can be ripped from the PS2 version of the game. In other words, I would be needing help with footage.

As for other ideas... I own Fatal Frame I and II, so if need be, I can switch sources to those (I also have FFIII, but that's "taken"). However, I have no songs for those games currently. I've only ever come up with one good Silent Hill 2 idea a long, long time ago, and bluetrain beat me to it recently. ^_^;; I have all of the Resident Evils, but I'd rather not edit with them.

The only catch is that I don't actually have any of these games with me here at college, and I don't know when I'll be able to visit home. Thanksgiving, for sure, but I don't know if it'll be anytime before that.

So... um... yeah. I'm rambling now. The short story is that I'm interested in this MEP, but there are some factors that need to be worked out yet before I can become committed.
