Hello everybody.
I submitted my first video a while back but I didn't say anything here. My mistake. I would like to get some imput on where I can improve on my videos and maybe what you like or dislike about my videos. I hope to get better at this and make some killer videos for you guys.

Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Hey there!
Looks like you and I are in the same boat...trying to learn the ropes and make better videos, that is.
Anyway, for a first AMV it's not bad at all and you show that you have some editing skills. However, it seemed to me like it was just a bunch of random scenes and that there wasn't a whole of video/audio syncing. It made the video feel a little pointless. Also, I think it could use some faster cutting. Some scenes were just on the screen for too long.
Also, your picture and sound suffer a lot. They seem to be overcompressed. As a general rule, never use Movie Maker. Movie Maker was made for streaming video on the internet, NOT for making quality AMVs. Get ahold of some good editing software (I recommend Premiere Elements if you can afford it), use either DivX or Xvid for your compression and use DVD-ripped footage for your sources whenever possible.
You've got potential. You just need to iron out some bugs. I hope this helps!
