Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I'd be comparing myself to my own videos, not to others. It would be boring to just make another video that isn't anything new or different for me. Otherwise I'd just watch my old videos..[/quote]

not trying to be a complete dick when i say this.. but didnt you say you were getting bored with amvs? and it is kinda true that you havent done much different since your first few videos.. maby a diff song or diff anime, same genere, same mood, same style, basically same video, which is why i stopped watching most of your videos, but when i saw this i had to see what i missed... and someone was right (the one who told me to make my original post) its the same thing over and over.. and you arent the only one on the top 10%, Im not because i admit i have NOTHING BUT SH*TTY AMVS, but i love making videos, i make them not for others, but mostly for the joy of editing, because i like seeing an end result that is different.... i dont claim to have good video, i dont claim to know what people like to see in an amv, and i dont really care about the top 10%... but think about it this way, if you explored other generes you wouldnt be competing with yourself... i can see how you wouldnt want to compete with yourself... but that is where originality and trying new ideas comes into the picture.. but hey, if your gone, thats 1 less editor i have to worry about pissing off...

I'm very sad to hear that your retiring! But goodluck and I know how it is to be busy. I've been busy with college, homework, and work I haven't had time to edit any videos and also I've had amv block for 8 months now. So haven't worked on any videos besides the two mep projects I joined. Anyways I loved your video it was awesome as usual! and I will always love your work and your sisters work. =). Again goodluck!!

......Please tell me that these 4 pages I've been reading are a clever ruse...

If not, WAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I have been watching your videos for years now and to say that you've left an impact on me would be a major understatement. I can't even begin to describe how I feel about you quitting right now.

I could say a lot more, but right now I'm listening to a dramatic song and trying to comprehend all that I've read so far. All I can say now is that I hope you are successful in any endeavors you undertake in the future.

...AND PLEASE, at least don't leave the forums! :D

so.. this is like your declaration of retirement?? That's unfortunate. But I'm glad you can go out in such a bang as this and hope you can resurface some day -_-.

For a 'last' AWESOME VID!

I loved it. It was nicely executed, and I loved the effects. Too bad it's your last one , but good luck in the future!

I'm very new to this hobby and have A LOT to learn, but your AMVS have always been some of my favorites.. and have inspired me to want to learn more so my work will evolve to a higher level.

I am sorry to see you go but hobbies should be fun. If you're not getting much satisfaction out of it anymore then a break is what you need.

Just want you to know that your vids have always impressed the hell outta me.
