2 ps2 ripping guides stickied in general video
I don't find it a big deal.. I'm not fretting. I wonder why you need two. why not merge what The14thGOD wrote at the bottom Castor Troys thread and not have them both stickied or something..

Well, actually, The14thGod's guide has the link to Castor Troy's, but it's somewhat mislabeled. It calls it an FFX-2 ripping guide, when it actually works for any PS2 game not using the ingame engine. I was the one who originally asked for Castor's guide to be a sticky, but if the part of 14thGod's guide was re-labeled to something like "PS2 Step-by-Step Ripping Guide," Castor's wouldn't really have to be a sticky anymore I guess.x_rex30 wrote:I don't find it a big deal.. It'd be nice if someone could type up and sticky a lengthy tutorial about how to rip fmv's the hard way by searching through all that hex code found in the iso of the given game. Because there are indeed fmv's in many games that just can't be extracted using the methods found in those 2 stickied threads. A guide such as the one I'm suggesting, could probably end up being the most reliable and guaranteed method of them all for ripping mpeg streams from ps2 games.
My next biggest project to come...

wait on it!
