  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

One thing I am confident in is the instrument synch though, if it seems out of synch anywhere, it could be the lag of the H.264 file if your PC is not upto par for it. It did lag a bit on my laptop (AMD Turon 1800Mhz, 512MB shared ram) when I tested it sometimes. my laptop runs slower than it should anyway though, I need to reinstall that thing from scratch. Ofcourse where I lipsynched, I couldn't synch the instruments also, so....

Dang... I can't even put ONE line in an amv without spelling something wrong....
Not to mention none of my beta testers caught it either, yet again

Yea I should spell check, too bad I keep forgetting about that fact whenever I do put text in videos....

Anyway,

Thanks for the comments guys, glad you guys seem to be liking it so far (not that you can resist Haruhism even if you wanted to... )

Somehow I didn't find that particularly fun or high energy... the flow was sluggish and random. So many cuts or "trickery" were emphasized by bland drum beats or uneventful guitar, while the vocals felt completely neglected. Maybe I need to listen to the song more, but it really did feel like a chore to watch this.

I don't want to "be the dick," but those are my thoughts. :(

The song's alright the first listen through, but its annoying enough to keep it off loop. The effect used during the part of the video when you see them play the instrument looks more like its a fabric-based artist canvas more than anything. Maybe if it had run horizontal instead of vertical it would have looked better, but as it is, bleh.

Other than that, pretty good.

Awesome, I was waiting for your Haruhi vid to come out. :D
It wasn't perfect, for reasons already mentioned, but still worth the wait I'd say.
Oh, and I can't spell either, so I can really symposize... sympasize... sympasise...

I can really feel for you with the whole typo thing.

I agree with the lip-syncing problem....but at least it was a good effort.

Where did you get the footage?

It's refreshing to finally see a Haruhi vid with a theme and point beyond random crazy happy stuff. I see the lip flap issue but as it's been mentioned before, Haruhi is always talking during the pretty moments of the show, so it didn't bother me much. Good work with the performance concept, it really tied the vid together well. Great job as always!
