Please help with resolution problem

Post by slimane2222 » Sat Aug 12, 2006 9:55 pm

I downloaded AMV Convert Tool and tried to convert some clips but my player supports only '128X96' and the converter shows me only 2 resolutions which are ' 128X128' and '160X120'. The converted clips are played in my player for 2 or 3 seconds then it displays "wrong format".

How can I solve this problem?

Any help will be appreciated.

Or you could actually try and help this person, Pwolf.

But I guess putting a link was more effort than making a "witty" comment. : /

I thought he was trying to change the resolution of some of his "clips," and just going at it the wrong way...

.amv is a video format for chinese MP3 players.

Have you read the little guide on wikipedia? located here

Well, what are you trying to do here? 160x120 is only about roughly twice the size of the avatar to the left. Obviously, if you're trying to convert a regular video you must have a target right?
If you're trying to put it on an IPOD then you want this guide here. If you're trying to upload it to a streaming media site, look elsewhere since this site frowns upon them.

So...
What are you trying to play them on?
What are compatible formats that your player supports?

If you say so. I'm guessing that you were, however, right about him trying to convert to .amv format though. We'll see if he responds.

Funny to think that there IS a .amv format...
