Half of those 5's shouldn't be 5's anymore. Those were 5's I gave when I first joined and I was entertained by some technically crappy videos in the beginning.

Mine was a lot lower, then I started using the recomended video search and stopped downloading random videos. That's really the reason the global average is so damn high though... people don't go out of their way to download what they can acurately guess to be bad videos and give them the apprpriate ratings.

Same here back in the day most videos I downloaded was in the new videos section.. a lot of the videos it''s like people would just throw random scenes in with no synch to the audio.. my average was maybe around a 2.4 or something a long while ago. I don't go to that section anymore.. so I actually run into videos with ops on them and base a lot of my downloads on the rating, concept of the video or if I just like the audio and the anime used. Also I rely on peoples comments on videos in the announcement forums and look at the top percent and recommended video section to find videos.
