How violent is too violent for a-m-v.org?
Hi, newbie here.
I have my first AMV finished, and was planning to upload it here. However, there was the issue of its violence (The anime used was "Jin-Roh"). My video's violent sequences are brief, but still bloody, and not nearly as graphic as say "Elfin Lied," I felt it could still be borderline. I tried contacting the administrator about this, but I may have goofed on that (My email service does not support Outlook Express), seeing that I have not yet heard back from when I tried to contact them last week.
I apologize if I'm simply being impatient on the matter.
To prevent becoming anymore of a pest here, I'll just ask the question; How violent is too violent for a-m-v.org?

The official stance is "Seeing innards, dismemberment and decapitation" but that just about sums up Elfen Lied there. In all seriousness, I've seen Jin Roh and I think it would be okay. If Elfen Lied is allowed her without too much fuss, at least that I've seen, I think you'll be fine. Might be good to check nonetheless.

If that's the case, then I don't think I really have much to worry about. The only violence in my AMV is from some of the shootout scenes in "Jin-Roh," with the longest running sequence being four seconds. The official stance is "Seeing innards, dismemberment and decapitation"
And if anything, I can put up an advisory about the violence in my comment board on the video info page.

Don't. Really, don't. You don't want to know what happens if we catch you doing that.guy07 wrote:I don't think they really care about how violent the vids are, i mean, i'v seen some pretty sick vids. The best way to know is the upload the vid, if it gets taken down or u get PMed, then it's too violent, otherwise, it's all good.
