I made a few videos back in ye olden days (96-2000) with friends in college.
Videos were released as either Rogue Studios, Dimension Video, Karinkuru, or Mirth... depending on who was calling the shots

Armitage and Reverbe were my partners in crime.
I happened on my first AMV on YouTube through an unrelated Google search... Evangelion to Europe - The Final Countdown. I found it's been remade here...

I'm just astounded, frankly, and flattered that TEN YEARS later a few people still remember these and think they were worthwhile

Final Countdown was about the first Eva AMV in the US, as far as I know. I premiered it at Katsucon and it ran up against only a single other Eva video... a year later they were everywhere, which makes sense for such a good series.

The video was made from VHS and fansub source, so my editing was VERY limited... quality suffered, and I made it under a time crunch (edit one week, head to con next week). I always wanted to go back and REALLY rework it, give it the attention it deserved. A lot of the "this part doesn't seem so strong" sections were filller I ended up having to leave in for the final cut.

I'm uploading one of my last works: Nadesico to Fat - Pull. This was a much faster, more technical work and I think people might enjoy it. I never released it wide. Real life took over
